I enjoy occassional pipe tobacco. I also like weed a couple times a week, but quit a while ago to pass drug tests for work. I missed weed, so started smoking my pipe a couple times a week instead of once every few weeks. This upset my spouse, and requested I switch to vape at least for health concerns. I did, and I honestly feel more unhealthy now than I did and I vape way more than I ever smoked. Its too convenient and doesnt hit the same way as real tobacco. Plus way more money.

I am working on vaping the last of my vape juice and going back to pipe tobacco. Gonna reserve it for once in a while though to keep the SO happy. Honestly I wish he would stop vaping. He does it constantly from morning to night and has an awful cough. I dont wanna end up like that, lol.

God I miss my pipe.
Even if you're not getting some fruity faggot flavored vape I still get that sickening sweet plasticy taste from the glycol which grosses me out. Even flavored papers aren't as bad as vapes in that regard.

Wouldn't call myself a smoker but did recently buy a pack after smoking very occasionally and I feel a bit disappointed in myself. I could see myself getting into pipes if I wasn't trying to not smoke at all. But damn if a cig on the porch during these cool early autumn days isn't peak kino.

I have no desire to quit, but I have cut back from cigarettes mostly out of financial responsibility. The price has gone up ridiculously to the point that I feel like it's just trying to extract blood from stone and there's no way that the revenue on it is what it was even five or ten years ago.

This might be a schizopost, but I feel like the social-conditioning of people against tobacco use in America is nothing short of the largest psyop ever conducted on a population. It rivals even the coof. Thirty years ago, everyone smoked. You could smoke inside most places. You'd be hard-pressed to find a bar where you couldn't. And then within that thirty year span, it's basically illegal to smoke anywhere inside unless it's your own home (and even then, it looks like they're coming after it) and tobacco consumption rates are dropping like a stone. I think it's absolutely ridiculous.

I know cigarettes/tobacco consumption is bad for you, but I have to be suspicious about how bad, since the same evil people that have pushed all kinds of nonsense on us are the ones that are pushing this as well.
Not schizo at all. A lot of the "social engineering" techniques that are used every day in service of gay nigger tranny shit were perfected during the worldwide anti-smoking campaign. Studies have shown that pipes, cigars, and smokeless have little or no cancer risk, but the general population is convinced you will drop dead if you use them, and in many countries, the packaging is covered in some of the nastiest gore I have ever seen. Good luck ever changing either of those, they have "moved past the sale" and are on to the next thing.

Perhaps the worst is their ability to weaponize oversocialized busybodies against their fellow man. The most recent example is otherwise ordinary people losing their shit in public because someone refused to wear a mask; this was perfected by TPTB when they succeeded in stigmatizing tobacco use as gross and shameful. You can even see it in this thread--observe how users who have no interest in tobacco appreciation feel the need to come in and lecture us about how we're all retarded addicts who will die of cancer. Most drugs, including alcohol, are famous for the phenomenon where people who have quit make it their life's mission to educate others about the evils of their former drug of choice, and cannot help but constantly get on a soapbox to preach the virtues of sobriety. I don't know that I have ever met a former smoker who was anywhere near that sanctimonious, it's always never-smokers or guys who tried a ciggie once in high school and decided it wasn't for them who are most judgemental about tobacco, despite not even being able to distinguish between an occasional pipe smoker and a two-packs-a-day emphysema patient.

Cigars every day. Mostly factory smokes since they're a cheap daily smoker and I don't have to feel bad if I need to toss one for a bad wrapper or bad draw. CAO and My Father cigars for weekend or when I know I'm going to have an uninterrupted hour or two outside.

Best thing isn't even the tobacco. I enjoy the experience. Just the deliberate process of cutting without damaging it, lighting without scorching it, and drawing at the right pace so I don't get sick and don't let the cigar go out... it's just a good time for reflection as well as clearing my head.

I tell everyone who looks at me sideways for admitting I puff cigars at that rate that it's the best thing I've ever done for my personal mental health.

"A pipe gives a wise man time to think, and a fool something to put in his mouth."

Those who are saying nicotine never gave them a buzz have never tried dokha or the stronger synthetics. A 50 mg/mL nic salt vape or a 20 mg pouch will have your head spinning. A good hit of dokha will knock you on your ass and put you out of commission for a good couple minutes lol.

One advantage of living in the third world is that a pack of menthols is like £3 a pack over here. If I moved back to the UK I'd have to quit just for financial reasons, but until then imma have a good time.

Also enjoy a good cigar on special occasions. Nothing better than whisky and cigars when a bro gets married or has a kid. You gotta mark that shit properly.

I'm a habitual snus user. Also smoked, but gave that up about 5 years ago.
Love snus though. The "General" brand in particular, which tastes something like a brine of fragrant wood and spicy orange zest.

Also, I enjoy the smell of pipe tobacco when someone else smokes one some distance away. It's seemingly the only form of tobacco smoke that doesn't have that harsh and rancid note to it.

Snus is my daily, though snuff might be taking its place. I wish I didn't have to wipe my nose so damn much, but I guess that's what you get. General is good, but I am trying to avoid Swedish Match (now Philip Morris) because they are pussies who don't even want to fight the tyrants at the FDA. Ettan is the oldest snus brand in Sweden and has some good stuff. I recently bought some loose snus to see if I like it better than portions.

I enjoy a good cigarette on occasion. I"m very picky. I used to really like the Nat Sherman's Hint of Mint (rip) but since those are no more i usually buy a pack or 2 of NAS every year. By far my favorite are the Tan pack - they're like a nice medium in strength. All-American Blend. Straighforward tobacco taste with some earthy overtones and just the barest hint of sweetness. The bad thing is they are insanely hard to find. Most gas stations don't carry them. You usually have to go to some hole-in-the-wall tobacco store and hope you get lucky.
A while ago I got a coupon in the mail for 3 dollars off and set off in search of a pack. I saw what I thought was them at a tobacco shop, bought them, took them home, and before I opened them noticed the top of the box said "Brown" instead of tan. They were fucking unfilters. However, the unfilters are actually pretty nice. They're not as harsh as you would expect, nowhere near as bad as original Lucky Strikes of Camels. I smoke them through a tarblocker and they are about perfect.

I love cigars and smoke them as often as I can. I also have some pipes and pipe tobacco, but I prefer the cigars. Cigars have bolder flavor and pipes are more likely to cause tongue bite. I also love cigarettes, but my wife only tolerates the cigars and pipes. Tobacco is quite enjoyable.

I started smoking pipe tobacco like ten years ago or so for pretty much the stupidest reason. I got really into it for a while. I never really liked any of the flavoured stuff or Virginia based blends. I wish I could remember what the stuff I used to buy was. It was some kind of sun dried something or another that had almost a cigar flavour to it. Eventually I got tired of the pipe smoking. It was messy, expensive and inconvenient and because I got myself addicted to nicotine I started buying pouches of organic rolling tobacco because the chemicals and shit they put on tobacco plants while it's growing are fucking disgusting and horrifying and the way commercial cigarettes are processed and created is disgusting and horrifying. There's also the whole freebase nicotine thing that they add to commercial cigarettes and I really did notice a difference between them. So did other people. Nobody wanted my smokes. They said it didn't satisfy their cravings and just made them want to smoke more. Regular cigarettes gave me a head rush and made me feel sick even though I smoked pretty heavily when I did smoke.

I tried to quit a couple times but I worked at a place that let us smoke inside while working and everybody I worked with smoked so I failed. I ended up quitting mostly because of one day when I was visiting my sister and my 2 year old nephew I noticed he would just stare intently every time I rolled a cigarette and just really seemed fascinated by it and I decided I really didn't want to ever be the reason why he started smoking. So the next day I threw away all my shit and bought a vape. It also got expensive. When I first started the pouches I bought were like $30 and lasted me 3 or 4 days. By the time I quit they were over $60 a pouch. A bottle of vape juice costs $25 from the place that doesn't charge tax if you pay cash and lasts me a little over a week.

Even after I quit and switched to a vape I still can't handle the freebase nicotine shit. It makes me feel sick and gives me a head rush but I can puff on salt nicotine vapes all day no problem. I can't fucking stand the candy or food flavoured shit though. That's not what cigarettes taste like. The only juice I've really found that I like is El Bacco by All Day Vapors. There's another tobacco flavoured one called Darts that's alright but it still tastes too much like a dessert to me.

I do miss smoking. I breathe a lot better now but I do miss it. The vape's kind of lame and not the same. I miss the taste. I genuinely enjoy the taste of smoking tobacco. Well some tobacco tastes like shit but I like the taste of good tobacco. One thing I would like to try is a good cigar. I've smoked lots of shitty cigars before. Gas station cigars and cheap Cuban cigars and shit like that but I've never tried a good one. I remember looking at them when I would go to the tobacco shop and some of the prices got absurd. Over $1000 for a single cigar. I think the nicest one I've had was a $25 one I got when my wife and I were on a trip. It always seemed hard to justify spending so much on something like a fancy cigar though. I'm sure it's good but honestly I can't imagine it's really that much better to warrant the prices those things get to. But maybe I'm wrong I dunno.
Just how bad is inhaling pipe tobacco? Because it feels really, really good. I only do it once every few days, sometimes I go weeks without.
It's not great. You're not really supposed to inhale it. I'm not really sure how you can handle that. I didn't even really like cigarettes rolled out of pipe tobacco. Inhaling that shit hurt, though, not as bad as Canadian Reds, the illegal native ones. Every single puff was like getting shot in the chest with a shotgun and it didn't get any better the more you smoked them, if anything it got worse.

You might like the black American Spirits, which are more widely available. It has a pipe tobacco in it so it's heavy, but has a really nice woody / nutty almost sweet flavor.

I'm on Zyns now so I'm naturally a faggot who doesn't know what they're talking about, but I thought they were tasty.

Pipe tobacco has fewer additives than cigarettes, but they are darker, and aromatics (sugar syrup based flavorings) burn very hot and are probably pretty unhealthy to inhale. Nevertheless, Pipedia has a good article on health risks and cites the Surgeon General's report from before the anti-smoking hysteria, which states that pipe smokers who inhale live longer than cigarette smokers, and those who do not inhale live longer than non-smokers, even when they smoke more than ten bowls a day! For the uninitiated, that is a serious undertaking due to the need to constantly tamp and relight. I don't know who could even do that except retirees who hang out on the porch all day.

Nic pouches aren't my thing, but nothing against them. If you're interested in a similar product that is made of actual tobacco (instead of synthetic cellulose soaked in vape juice) and has a more grown-up flavor, I highly recommend snus. You have to buy from Sweden to get the real stuff, but it is just as cheap in bulk, and they come in a range from mild, dry, and flavored (white portion) to strong, moist, and unflavored (loose).

If you read the OP you would know that smokeless tobacco carries very low risk of oral cancer. In fact, Swedish snus makers changed the formulas for their snus to all but eliminate "tobaccos-specific nitrosamines" which are the primary risk factor in smokeless, given that there is no tar, nitric oxide, or other combustion byproducts, and subsequently forced the EU to repeal the requirement to label packages with cancer warnings. Even pipe and cigar smoking, where the smoke is not inhaled but only held in the mouth, carries one tenth or less the risk of cancer.
Tobaccocel cope.

Tablet County is just mad because I fucked his mom while packing a lipper, then we had a PHAT cigar to celebrate while he cried in the corner. Drop a five ouncer of Capstan Blue for unban, bitch. Damn that pussy nice!
