I've been seeing things like this getting shared around. Ones that look like a handwritten note that says something like:

"Your husband can't make you vote for Trump, he can't follow you into the voting booth, that's your chance to vote for Kamala, just lie and tell him you voted Trump if you must"

With the heavy implication that Trump-voting husbands are forcing their wives to vote Trump or get beaten, and that a husband that votes Trump needs to be escaped from.

2. Openly cheating to try to change the result
3. Denial and accusation of Trump doing every possible dirty trick to cheat
4. Gavin Newsom and other Democrats taking any and all possible measures to declare the results invalid and force a re-do that goes their way
5. Calls for criminal indictment of Trump, Vance and other Republicans for supposedly cheating
6. Expect to hear about how Faithless Electors are essential to Our Democracy and why it is a good thing that they will not vote for Trump
7. Thinly veiled calls for violence against electors who don't change their vote for Trump
8. Open calls for violence against Trump, Vance, and any other Republican candidate successful this cycle
9. Open calls for violence for anyone suspected of having voted for Trump or protecting suspected Trump voters from violence

I am starting to get messages from polling firms, asking me who I am going to vote for in the election and if I am going to vote by mail or in person, and which party I am going to vote for.

I am torn. I am tempted to lie so Democrats think they are more secure in my area, because the surprise if Trump wins would be funny as hell. If Democrats think everyone in my area is voting by mail, they might not work as hard to "fortify" the election results.

On the other hand, if all the polls for my area show everyone is going to vote democrat by mail, the GOP may write off my area as a loss and put no effort to stop the "fortification", and thus hand Kamala electoral votes that could have been in play.

@Gehenna when you did polling, how difficult was it to detect people lying about their preferences, whether out of fear of being punished for wrongthink, or a desire to fuck with the polls? If I lie and claim to pollsters that I intend to vote Democrat by mail, do you think that will move the needle in any way at all? Or would I just be shitposting into a sea of shit?

You don't, but it also shouldn't be an issue. This is part of why sample size is so important. You will always get people who lie to some degree but sheer numbers cancels out the noise leaving honest response. That bein said I have heard more complaints of its rates increasing, enough to at least be heard through the noise. So... shitpost away!

Remember, the RNC was made very likely with Haley in mind as the nominee set up for a "Graceful loser" campaign and "Unity", and Trump surviving ruined that especially when he then made sure to take what he was handed and ensure it was as close to his ideal as he could get.

Officially, MK-ULTRA ended in 1973, meaning that any of the assassins would have to be 50+ years old assuming they started as children and allowed to live semi-normal lives.

Given the complete lack of morality within the CIA and lack of persecution, I wouldn't put it past them if there's an equally heinous program that was instituted immediately afterward, but I would also expect these sleeper agents to be used more prominently in the last fifty years.
