BEIRUT, Sept 17 (Reuters) - More than 1,000 people, including Hezbollah fighters and medics, were wounded on Tuesday when the pagers they use to communicate exploded across Lebanon, security sources told Reuters.
A Hezbollah official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the detonation of the pagers was the "biggest security breach" the group had been subjected to in nearly a year of war with Israel.
Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah have been engaged in cross-border warfare since the Gaza war erupted last October, the worst such escalation in years.

The Israeli military declined to comment on Reuters enquiries about the detonations.
Iran's Mehr news agency said the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was injured by one of the blasts. Reuters could not immediately confirm the report.
A Reuters journalist saw ambulances rushing through the southern suburbs of the capital Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold, amid widespread panic. A security source said that devices were also exploding in the south of Lebanon.

At Mt. Lebanon hospital, a Reuters reporter saw motorcycles rushing to the emergency room, where people with their hands bloodied were screaming in pain.
The head of the Nabatieh public hospital in the south of the country, Hassan Wazni, told Reuters that around 40 wounded people were being treated at his facility. The wounds included injuries to the face, eyes and limbs.
The wave of explosions lasted around an hour after the initial detonations, which took place about 3:45 p.m. local time (1345 GMT). It was not immediately clear how the devices were detonated.

Lebanese internal security forces said a number of wireless communication devices were detonated across Lebanon, especially in Beirut's southern suburbs, leading to injuries.
Groups of people huddled at the entrance of buildings to check on people they knew who may have been wounded, the Reuters journalist said.
Regional broadcasters carrying CCTV footage which showed what appeared to be a small handheld device placed next to a grocery store cashier where an individual was paying spontaneously exploding. In other footage, an explosion appeared to knock out someone standing at a fruit stand at a market area.

Lebanon’s crisis operations center, which is run by the health ministry, asked all medical workers to head to their respective hospitals to help cope with the massive numbers of wounded coming into for urgent care. It said health care workers should not use pagers.
The Lebanese Red Cross said more than 50 ambulances and 300 emergency medical staff were dispatched to assist in the evacuation of victims.

Hezbollah fired missiles at Israel immediately after the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas gunmen on Israel. Hezbollah and Israel have been exchanging fire constantly ever since, while avoiding a major escalation as war rages in Gaza to the south.
Tens of thousands of people have been displaced from towns and villages on both sides of the border by the hostilities.

From OSINT

What we know so far:
- Explosion happened simultanously
- Explosions didn't only happen in Lebanon, but in Syria too so it's a long range to be wireless detonation signal.
- The pager is 'Rugged Pager AR924' produced by a Taiwanese company
- Small Li-Ion battery, can't explode that big
- None of the pagers caught fire, which is common incase of a battery 'explosion' rather they just exploded.
- However the pagers did heat up before
- All exploded pagers were the same model of pager.
- The pagers came from one shipment

Also pretty shitty headline considering this was an attack that could only hit Hezbollah members

Video of the attacks

Anyway, back to more interesting things. I have seen lost of really funny GRS-by-pager videos but there are only one patient in each one.
Does anyone have any videos of where multiple terries get castrated at the same time?
Just going to revive this idea from like 50 pages ago because a montage of islamist dickheads getting their dicks blown off set to Pomp And Circumstance does sound like a fun watch.

I am sure they can make more ebollah fighters. They are as expendable as those pagers. There were more people born yesterday than blew up, so even with that circlejerk, beyond media propaganda it amounted to nothing but increased paranoia and may harm Israel economically long term, given that everything coming out of that country may be rigged one way or another.
What a pompous way to shoot yourself into your own foot.
Yeah I'm sure that babies conceived today who can't fight for 14 years minimum are a real threat to Israel. Israel also didn't manufacture the pagers domestically

Hahahaha, no. Every explosive precursor is closely monitored.
Well shit every explosive precursor is closely monitored, it's unpossible to make your own explosives without the glowies knowing

lol wait wut

That's Romania, you're thinking of Budapest köcsög.
you're right, my retardation of european geography is showing, thank you.

in other interesting news the new york times is alleging that B.A.C in budapest was entirely an israeli front give me clocks if i'm late to this with an english article, as i didn't see anything about it but i am notoriously retarded.

can't upload images right now, not sure why, but here's the relevant section that's not journo prose
By all appearances, B.A.C. Consulting was a Hungary-based company that was under contract to produce the devices on behalf of a Taiwanese company, Gold Apollo. In fact, it was part of an Israeli front, according to three intelligence officers briefed on the operation. They said at least two other shell companies were created as well to mask the real identities of the people creating the pagers: Israeli intelligence officers.

B.A.C. did take on ordinary clients, for which it produced a range of ordinary pagers. But the only client that really mattered was Hezbollah, and its pagers were far from ordinary. Produced separately, they contained batteries laced with the explosive PETN, according to the three intelligence officers.

The pagers began shipping to Lebanon in the summer of 2022 in small numbers, but production was quickly ramped up after Mr. Nasrallah denounced cellphones.

Some of Mr. Nasrallah’s fears were spurred by reports from allies that Israel had acquired new means to hack into phones, activating microphones and cameras remotely to spy on their owners. According to three intelligence officials, Israel had invested millions in developing the technology, and word spread among Hezbollah and its allies that no cellphone communication — even encrypted messaging apps — was safe anymore.

Not only did Mr. Nasrallah ban cellphones from meetings of Hezbollah operatives, he ordered that the details of Hezbollah movements and plans never be communicated over cellphones, said three intelligence officials. Hezbollah officers, he ordered, had to carry pagers at all times, and in the event of war, pagers would be used to tell fighters where to go.

Over the summer, shipments of the pagers to Lebanon increased, with thousands arriving in the country and being distributed among Hezbollah officers and their allies, according to two American intelligence officials.

To Hezbollah, they were a defensive measure, but in Israel, intelligence officers referred to the pagers as “buttons” that could be pushed when the time seemed ripe.

That moment, it appears, came this week.
Speaking to his security cabinet on Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he would do whatever was necessary to enable more than 70,000 Israelis driven away by the fighting with Hezbollah to return home, according to reports in Israeli news outlets. Those residents, he said, could not return without “a fundamental change in the security situation in the north,” according to a statement from the prime minister’s office.

On Tuesday, the order was given to activate the pagers.

To set off the explosions, according to three intelligence and defense officials, Israel triggered the pagers to beep and sent a message to them in Arabic that appeared as though it had come from Hezbollah’s senior leadership.

Seconds later, Lebanon was in chaos.

they also talk about the single civilian casualty they can actually confirm.
New York Times said:
With so many people wounded, ambulances crawled through the streets, and hospitals were soon overwhelmed. Hezbollah said at least eight of its fighters were killed, but noncombatants were also drawn into the fray.

In Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, in the village of Saraain, one young girl, Fatima Abdullah, had just come home from her first day of fourth grade when she heard her father’s pager begin to beep, her aunt said. She picked up the device to bring it to him and was holding it when it exploded, killing her. Fatima was 9.

and then an honestly very comedic quote, because of how dumb you'd have to be.
New York Times said:
On Wednesday, as thousands gathered in Beirut’s southern suburbs to attend an outdoor funeral for four people killed in the blasts, chaos erupted anew: There was another explosion.

Amid the acrid smoke, panicked mourners stampeded for the streets, seeking shelter in the lobbies of nearby buildings. Many were afraid that their phone, or the phone of a person standing next to them in the crowd, was about to explode.

“Turn off your phone!” some shouted. “Take out the battery!” Soon a voice on a loudspeaker at the funeral urged everyone to do this.

For the Lebanese, the second wave of explosions was confirmation of the lesson from the day before: They now live in a world in which the most common of communication devices can be transformed into instruments of death.

One woman, Um Ibrahim, stopped a reporter in the middle of the confusion and begged to use a cellphone to call her children. Her hands shaking, she dialed a number and then screamed a directive:

“Turn off your phones now!”

"oh, if we use our phones they turn into bombs? better call my children and make their phones ring!"

I've seen pictures of a TATP stash that was created by a bored guy dabbling in chemistry. Had kilograms of the powder just sitting on a card table

While cool boobytrapping commercially purchased off the shelf consumer electronics with explosives is not a good look. You have no idea in whose hands these things will end up in due to the massive scale of the secondhand electronics market.

So some poor asshole with no ties to the Middle East is now walking around with a primed explosive in his pocket and is completely unaware of it.

Pretty bad Jew Trick as it only works one time and creates a lot of very visible collateral damage.

How would someone get a pager from a shipment dedicated to being shipped only to Hezbollah?

TATP goes off if you look at it funny, not the best choice for something to sit in a phone battery covertly and be triggered at the right time.
I was more using it as an example of how random retards can build explosives without the govt knowing any better

If you want to honestly make the argument that every single one of these pagers will make it into the hands of only lol terrorists.

You do you.
If the order was from durka.durka@hezbollah.ir for 5000 pagers tied to a specific Hezbollah pager network, who do you think it goes to? Besides, there's been no evidence of civilian casualties other than 1-2 cases.

Hezbollah shills trying very hard to convince the plebs that civilians got injured despite all the footage of the wounded showing surly military-aged men. Why is there no footage of any civilian victims?

yes, considering that israel made the shell company that sold these pagers, and were the ones who received the order for them, they were able to make sure that only hezbollah received them. as i highlighted in my post, the only person who can even be tied to these that was a casualty but not involved with hezbollah was the obvious child of a terrorist, considering it was her father's pager he left sitting on the kitchen table. meaning a terrorist left his terrorist equipment on the kitchen table for his non-terrorist daughter to be around.

The fact that there is no footage of any wounded civilians says it all. The Islamic entity always shows footage of their wounded even before the attack is over, why not now? If there were any actual civilian casualties, the Islamic entity would be parading them throughout the city streets for days.

Instead, Hezbollah is blocking any videos and photos as not to expose their operatives.

>Kikes pull some cowardly Jew shit
>A&N claps likes retarded seals

Must be a day ending in Y.
I don't understand how anyone can look at this and not think it is an incredible feat. They were able to intercept a shipment of thousands of pagers and walkie talkies, insert explosives and likely install modified components, maybe even custom smaller pcbs, and do it all within a couple of days to avoid suspicion. (just read that they had a shell company selling pagers for the last 2 years, which is still impressive and even more Jewish lmao). Not to mention how deeply embedded they must be in these orgs, maybe even having the ability to suggest the pagers or the manufacturer from within Hezbolah command structure. Now the entire org and probably even Iran are paranoid about every piece of telecom they have.

Maybe I am not pissing and shitting because I look at the faggots who got their dick and balls blown off as subhuman apemen, but I can't imagine not being impressed by the scale, the logistics, the technical acumen, and the James Patterson level espionage that this represents.

Five Israeli men were seen dancing in the streets of New York in the wake of the attacks, were arrested and later released without charge."
What makes you think they won't do it one more time?

We Will Dance Again -
Hard pass. We’ve already helped them once and look what that has done to us, not to mention we are forced to never hear the end of their incessant fucking whining about “muh hitler” and endless cries about how they’re the biggest victims.
Matter of fact, since they’ve been gifted Israel (by western tax dollars and lives) they should all go back, mind their own affairs and leave the rest of us to ours.

I don’t know what I’m suppose to do about that. I can’t very well deport them all myself.

It's a serious endeavour, and required an insane degree of planning, logistics, discipline etc. It's an amazing operation. An incredibly terrifying and amazing operation.
