Nick/Kayla floated opening up the marriage to the other. Kayla is often speculated to be the one who pushed for it. There's a text from Faran (I think it was Faran, I get my legal ethots mixed up) claiming that's what happened.

Aaron has said that Kayla "started" the open marriage thing because she thought that was what Nick wanted. The way he acted and talked on his show made her believe he wanted to try it. The text from Faran was about after their long drunk stream that Nick said his wife wanted to try swinging. This always felt a little dishonest to me for how Nick will lawyerbrain what he says. I always felt like Nick saying that was trying to get Faran onboard with joining them.

For what it's worth, though, I enjoy laughing at Balldo Man as much as anyone else. I only discovered this site from watching Nick seethe about it.

In particular, I enjoy Nick's infuriating misrepresentations and half truths being mocked and satirised by farmers. Likewise, I find Kurt's misrepresentation of his experience galling. Any attempt to mock him in his chat gets you banned.

So when I stumbled on the case of him unsuccessfully trying to sue his employer, I couldn't resist making an account to bring the tale to a wider audience. I think it's funny because Kurt seems to have reacted to what should have been a minor career set-back in the the same comically counter-productive way he reacts to mild criticism from his chat.

Incidentally, I don't even wish Kurt any ill-will really. My main hope is just to have a few people laugh at him with me.

(My understanding is that basic data about US Federal Employees with a salary of over $100k is public record.) Although simply searching "Kurt Mueller Patent Examiner" shows a site where several years of his basic employment records are available, I would have sworn I saw more detailed information previously.
