Intentional or not, the whole thing was very poorly planned.

Irony, Imholtes, and Other Bad Ideas​

Apparently, the Imholte-Rekieta swinging being a topic dates back to December 2023 (although not a big highlight in this thread as December 2023 was largely the month of MANdy, American Beauty discussion, and the LOTY race). This was before many of Aaron's detractors had a real place on KF anyway. In any case, Aaron seemed to have had enough people bothering him about it that he went on the offensive pretty early.

For instance,

2023-12-19: Streaming from the Rekietas

The first instance of Nick sticking his tongue in Aaron's ear came from a stream the Imholtes did from Nick's place dated December 19th 2023. There are some sexual allusions throughout the stream with "ironic" intent.

While not as famous as Nick licking Aaron's ear while shirtless, this seems to be the first instance of it happening:



There are also chair-sniffing allegations that I refuse to summarize, except that April makes a joke at Kayla's expense and Aaron responds by saying that Kayla is "a classy broad" (eliciting a skeptical smirk from April).



2023-12-25: A Very Special Imholte Christmas Hot Tub Stream

The Imholtes also did a hot tub stream of their own on December 25th 2023 where they were very cognizant of rumors that they were having sex with the Rekietas.

Apparently, the rumor at that point was that Aaron was left out of the swinging (something that would persist for some time). They talked about Aaron having birthday sex with April and the resulting choke marks on her neck (though if that happened, it would have been some time after Nick watched Kayla straddle him naked on the couch before lunch).

April shows off her Pineapple tattoo, because even this early they are aware of it's association with swinging (due to rumors with the Biscontes). Near the end Aaron talks about them being buzzed due to drinking so much earlier in the day. April claims to be unaffected by what she has consumed (foreshadowing?).

I'll spoiler this one as it features April in a bikini while repeatedly leaning toward the camera, presumably to show off her ribcage.

Again, not as famous as the hot tub swinger stream with Nick and Kayla, but this carries the same spirit and predates it.


2024-01-19: Nick, Aaron, and Anal

Then there was also this instance on January 19th 2024 where the Imholtes once again lean heavily into them having sex with Nick and Kayla.

Aaron also talks about the gift he got for Nick. It was a pin that says "power bottom" made by a company called Gay Pin (get it?).



2024-01-10: No-Comment Nicky

Nick's tactic on the other hand was to largely keep quiet and sidestep the issue, as seen when he was asked about the Imholtes crumbling marriage in mid January 2024 (prior to the swinger hot tub stream):



2024-05-15: Not So Funny Anymore

A lot of this seems motivated by Aaron and it definitely became a theme of his... until Aaron was getting divorced in May 2024 and suddenly it wasn't so funny and his only tactics were to be cagey or lie:



TL/DR: Aaron was playing it up "ironically" to avoid suspicion very early on. It was Aaron's only trick (apparently he used it with the Biscontes), he overplayed it, and it ended up completely backfiring on everyone involved.

Intentional or not, everything about what they did was very poorly thought out.
