I think the big reason why Harris will lose is that unlike Obama, she cannot pretend to be Christian very well. She is supposedly a Baptist, but there’s enough shit of her being a Hindu that I wouldn’t be surprised if she loses a lot of old Black Church ladies (the beating heart of the Democratic Party).

Trump is in a weird place with Ukraine. Part of his base wants peace through strength show Putin whats what send troops to Ukraine now. A larger part is in the "fuck Ukraine secure our borders" camp. Trump cant alienate the group that likes him because they percieve him as stronger against Putin, he cant alienate "fuck Ukraine". His whole "i will resolve it in 24 hours" could be a phone call to Putin threatening troops on the ground or it could be a phone call to Zelensky to pack it up.
Current rumour is hes going to force a cease fire and threaten Z with no more gibs and Putin with boots if they dont both agree.
Regardless. Kamala is a known to Putin. She will be a continuation of the last 3 years. Trump all kinds of shit could happen. Most world leaders dont do the chaos option unless they think they are fucked without it.

GOP is going against absentee balloting all wrong.
All you really need to do to get absentee ballots limited/shut down is:
A) Start having conservative churches host ballot filling-in sessions with ballots taken all together to be delivered after.
B) Start issuing guidance for "trad husbands" on how to help their wife fill out the ballot "correctly"
C) Send teams of Republican vote gatherers to old folks' homes who can help all the dementia patients vote the way they want to.
Within weeks, the DNC will be falling all over itself to stop absentee ballots.

215 Republicans, along with 51 Democrats voted in favor of the Bill. 158 democrats voted against the Bill.

With Michigan's Supreme Court being 4-3 in favor of the Democrats, I don't see much coming from the Michigan lawsuit.
Speaking of ballots, I was telling someone about the recent discussion on thread regarding calls asking if people are voting and the chance they could be used to cast absentee votes in the name of someone who states they're not voting. Once again, the consensus was that ideas that would have been rejected in the past as loony conspiracy theories are plausible enough now in a campaign where nothing seems to be too nasty or sleazy when it comes to the underhanded tactics and shenanigans that inevitably take place.
