The new DSP accounting method was a very, very, very bad idea, purely born out of the narcissistic need to keep up the King streak to have proof that everybody loves him now and he has a Renaissance. The old system worked very well and was very optimized for his main clientele: Dumb retards who do as he says and tip, and ironic larpers who know he earns a lot anyway and are willing to spend a little money to enjoy Phil by superchats. Now he is showing the dents how the sausage is made (or better, how much his slob makes him), while also giving them a more convenient way to tip (and less for him, because long-term for Phil is one month at max and budgets are hard when you are a shopping / gacha addict)

See, this reaching out to FGC personalities like Sir Max and Sir Wong and the subsequent seething after getting no responses even though the whole internet likes him now is far more entertaining than whatever KC or Keem is trying to marionette Phil into doing. As someone already mentioned, getting real deep into the dramasphere requires effort that Phil is really not willing to exert. LTG was supposed to be his low-effort-max-gain exploitation of drama and that really didn't pan out. If Keemstar or the KC dents think they're gonna rope Phil into some kind of lolcow cockfight or pokemon battle he's the wrong person for it.

We all know why he is trying to get to Jay to get to Dale but jfc man. His audience ate him up over the Dale stuff, they were saying he was acting deranged and calling him a woman. As for the merger of tops and SCs, he has done it to throw off PoPs spreadsheet and Goutygamer on X. The last week he has brought up PoPs sheet multiple times. The problem is though he has hurt himself because he does not get that money for 40 days. It also throws massive credance to the fake tips theory being correct because he would not need to do that if the streak failed multiple times without the "real" tips. No, I believe the fake tipping is just for the streak as he got away with it once during the vest streak. I think also behind the scenes a couple of whales have hinted at an exodus, I would not put it past OIC saying he has ran out of money nearly. We know he is in the Seattle area so living costs are high and bankrolling a sped $124k is just a dealbreaker and he has very little to get out of it now.

I agree, if he leans into mental illness etc he will have a massive exodus but it will open up the KC to destroy him, I do think KC will be one of his biggest detractors honestly.

Like it's dsp so no shit the entire streams are based on money and always have been but how is it even worse now?
