Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

These games aren't terrible but it's pretty obvious they don't have much material to work with now that the novelty of the "Post-Order 66 Jedi surviving in the Galaxy" story has worn off. We all know Cal's not going to accomplish anything, best case is that he gets to go live a happy life with his space witch girlfriend(?)
The period between the PT and the OT seems like a goldmine of story ideas, but they have worse bottlenecks than the PT ever did. Andor can only lead into Rogue One at best.

Especially since this is pretty much the end of the 2nd game: found a literal hidden planet he, Witch Waifu, and his (surviving, lol) crew could live on.

And even if they do the next logical step: Cal & Waifu begin collecting force sensitives to create an impossible to reach Jedi planet. Which would work with the shitty nucannon because if they're gathering literal children they'll be too young to fight in GCW, so unlike Filoni's Fapbait it would make complete sense why we never see Cal in any EU media - he's trying to keep things on Jedi World from collapsing.

So they wait until after the Empire collapses, make contact with Luke's new Jedi Order (or more likely on a supply/retrevial run Luke makes contact with them)....and then what? Its established in Ep7/8 the order collapses, everyone's dead or unimportant. Its all literally pointless to give a shit about what happens and Disney made it that way. They burned down the past, so anything they set there is dumb and a waste of time that doesn't matter, and their "female future" is gay and lame.

I enjoyed parts of these games but I genuinely hope the third one is set in the Mandalorian timeline because then everyone who holds them up as "see Disney Star Wars can be good" will eat shit.

The only good ending I could come up with is to have a "twist" where halfway through you suddenly get to play as Vader hunting them all down.

I've been wondering, just how long was the woke brigade trying to claim the series for their own ends? Because I came across an comment that implies how troons have been trying to push their bullshit for years but got BTFO'd by "queerphobia" or whatever they call it. Nowadays, it's just them insisting that so and so is gay because of some really flimsy and obscure evidence

I remember retarded proto-woketard women on livejournal claiming various Star Wars characters were gay and this was ~25 years ago. Fagging up scifi has been around since 1974 when a woman created the first slash fiction story about Kirk and Spock. Allowing women into scifi and fantasy has always been a mistake.

Women have been in Sci-fi from the start, C. J. Cherryh and Ursula K. Le Guin coming to mind immediately. Maybe the problem is the mentally ill and stupid instead? Because as far as I am aware Cuck Wendig, Jar Jar Abrams, Ruin Johnson are not women.

Ursula K. Le Guin

Not a great example. Women should stick to reading romance novels and watching soap operas. Every other genre is too much for their small minds.

Does she have any claim to fame beyond a more transparent furry fetish than A.D. Foster?

Le Guin was propped for no reason other than having a vagina and being willing to openly preach feminism. None of her books other than the original Wizard of Earthsea are remotely readable - the fact that she got so much hype allowed me to check that for myself. I've tried and dropped four of them before realizing that no, the hype is not deserved.

I would have named Andre Norton, or Leigh Brackett instead. But even those are just decent, passable writers at their best.

Favreau wanted Han, Luke, and Leia in the Mando&Grogu movie but it's almost impossible due to tech limitations and cost. Who actually wants this movie?
It's also dumb. Luke is the only one that can come back and sort of work narratively and what they've done so far is not good anyways. Han has too much Harrison Ford, so seeing a deep fake of him is just as bad as "young" Indy in Dial of Destiny, and more deep fake Leia?

What the hell happened to Favreau? Iron Man is his real achievement and everything else is like Lion King remake or Book of Boba Fett.

The usual Abused wife boomers and general consoomers excited for next product. You act like here, even in the land of the Nigger-word and no Disney Princess tranny-jannies rat shielding, half of the people who posted in this thread wouldn't be plunking down $20 on opening weekend "Just to see how bad it is... haha as a joke. I would like to smell it." "I've got to finish the films consoom every ounce of rancid shit that has the star wars logo slapped on it" while coping about pirating it.

As long as it was under 500 million, it could be holiday special bad and it would make money on inertia and brand recognition alone.

or if they're just making up planets like "Urajab" which have never been mentioned and never will be, in order to fill out an otherwise sparse map.
That's how we got Kinooine, so it's not all bad.

It's because the people making the stories don't actually give a fuck about doing anything interesting in the time period, all the stuff around the formation of the Rebellion should be the focus in this time but apart from Andor it just gets brushed over in favour of ever increasing amounts of Vaderwank because most of the era is comics and their writers only know how to make capeshit.

A.C Crispin's Han Solo trilogy is up there with the best books in the EU and she's a woman, you just have to actually care about what you're writing rather than getting asspats for saying all the right things.

I didn't know that planet has been around since the 80's Marvel comics

That was a fun novel trilogy.

I thought what I read of Kristine Kathryn's New Rebellion was pretty solid.

Also do you guys think that Kelsey Grammer would be a good voice for Plageious?

Have they become so obsessed with AI deep fakes that they forgot they could just recast post ROTJ Han, luke, and Leia with new actors? Oh thats right Lucas film is convinced solo bombed because Han solo was recast and not because TLJ was one of the most disappointing sequels of a time that split the fan base.

I mean, the casting for Solo was shit casting. Pretty much all the good casting decisions made were casting people that made it big in the 20th century like Temura Morrison or Carl Weathers. 21th century actors are more like Amanda Stenberg or Daisy Ridley, just absolute mediocrities with no royal jelly to them. So yeah, deep fakes do make sense despite the jankiness.

This is belatedly listening to the critics years too late, and only focusing on the endgoal without any goddamn clue or thinking about how to get it.

They're finally hearing "the sequels never had the three even meet in the same room", but are too stupid to realize this shit's too late. An actor's dead, the other will refuse to do it until he's dead and you get the rights, and so you only have the one left. Even then Favreau, a fucking retard given his insistence on bad "hyperrealism" for the Lion King abortion, is ignoring he did the thing with Luke. He killed it off, and it relies on damnatio memoriae'ing the Sequels for any of this shit to matter.

The end goal is clear to them, but they forget you need to actually seriously think about how to get there, using the character's motivations and beliefs and understanding them to either come to that point, or to reject that end goal because it doesn't make sense.

Writers only ape what they see on TVtropes now, and ape what others think writing does. Since "write the end first" is a literal saying that's taken over entertainment. They'll make characters do stupid shit or make things happen for no reason because of it. Fuck actually editing when you realize that don't make no sense, we need that beat because we think we know the audience even as we scorn them.
