Another callout post from Zack, this time about The Penguin. So at this point, Zack's recommendation on a TV show or movie means it's something I'm probably going to want to skip. Of course, the DC branding on The Penguin made me want to skip it in the first place, whereas if it had been a simple gangster show I'd have been more likely to give it a watch. It's funny how that works, I think it's because I won't be able to take it seriously as a gangster show if it's about DC's Oswald(a) Cobblepot. I know that Batman comics are more insulated from DCs overall faggotry than their other comics, but I can't help but think everything from DC is gay now, in both senses of the word. It's not like Batman extended universe comics never have any camp gay or wine aunt trash in them (which Zack often pointed out in his videos).

Ironically I saw Nerdrotic posting yesterday that he was watching The Penguin. There's only so many hour-long streaming shows you can watch in a day, I guess, unless you're YBZ and that's all you to avoid working at all and fulfilling your books from 3-4 years ago.

Kind of. Shane Davis and Jon Malin would have never made this kind of money without CG. EVS could have maybe made a good living off commissions from people that feel nostalgia for the Green Lantern shit, but LARPing as a fatter, gayer, more irrelevant Howard Stern is obviously more important to him. So it is worth it.

Godlike took forever to make and he abandoned Graveyard Shift to make it. So people stopped caring for the GYS series and every review of Godlike I've seen was negative. If you have 2000 live viewers sitting through a launch stream and only 600 are backing, shit's rough.

Comic artists are notorious for having no ego at all, I bet Shane and Jon love hearing how EVS is carrying them.

Honestly, the whole "July is a Russian asset" could have been an OK bit for a couple of shows. But this is week 3 of the TENET allegations. The boring fuck needs new material and we already know he can't write for shit. People pretending that EVS is (or ever has been) entertaining is the biggest cope in CG.

Catching up on this thread has been like binging a sloppy, poorly-written soap opera. For the first few hundred pages, Kiwis were ribbitguarding for @FROG and CG pretty hard; buying into Ethan's lies, brushing off all the early signs of the autism that was to come, and only going after anti-CGers for the most part. By the time you get to 2021 or so, the focus is almost entirely on CG neurodivergency, with several of the same posters who were defending EVS becoming some of his biggest detractors, and nobody really giving a shit about SJWS or the clowns in the industry anymore (except to talk about how Heather Antos became a BBW).

The CG Drama Whores thread turned out to be pretty pointless. Everyone involved with CG, even Richard "the Saint of Comicsgate" Meyer, was revealed to be (or gradually evolved into) drama whores.

Doomcock has fans the way Mike Zeroh has fans. His shtick is so played out that had it not been for the writers of She-Hulk basing a character off of him in the show, I'd still have hope of him letting his useless Hollywood insider gossip echo chamber channel go dormant. He's been Streisand-Effected into immortality.
