Check it out for yourself, I can hear the incoming rant *sigh*

Oh god, with that "Dude in a dress" scene alone Kiwifarms will have a field day of Troons going apeshit on twitter. It'll be amazing.
Add to that the whining of self-diagnosed "headmates" tumblerettes going "Hurr, that's spreading the misconception mentally ill people are mentally ill!" and we'll have quite a load of salt to shovel. I'm looking forward to it.

On a sidenote Shyamalan really has nothing left in him, if the trailer is any indication. The camera-work is really lackluster and the idea of this dude having 23 personalities seems like it'll boil down to "This is my 'wearing glasses' personality", "This is my 'wearing a dress' personality", "This is my 'wearing a pollunder' personality"... Calling it now: The abducted girls are actually other personalities and it's all just in his mind (or something equally ridiculous)

I had made the mistake of pointing out of responding to that as "So, rioters and a crowd of disgruntled voters calling for the President-Elect's head doesn't necessitate protection?" and got blocked. No weening, no insults, no bullshit. Guy's created an echo chamber.

He only cares about his own opinion and his alone, you are free to express your opinion to him so long it matches perfectly to his view of the world, regardless how wrong, out of touch or out right delusional his opinions are.

Try to refute any arguments of his even with a sliver of common sense and factual info and you'll be declared evil not worth talking or listening to.

Dobson can shield himself from reality all he wants but one day reality will come knocking down his door and no block button will help then.

Dobson and his ilk can't ignore the movies, songs, games, clothes or everything else in creation that they don't like nor move along like any other normal person would. No, they have to point out that they don't like it and make sure everyone else knows it and if possible ruin it for anyone who might actually enjoy those things and if possible take it away from them.

I'm starting to understand the driving force behind the SJW mentality: they are miserable, unhappy, very often talentless hacks that can only find fulfillment by making everyone else as miserable and joyless as they are.

Essentially Dobson's entire existence in a nutshell.

You know, I just remembered that one time where Dobson made himself the ultimate fool in a discussion and showed just how large his incompetence is to talk his way out of a wet paper bag. Goddamnit, I can't remember all the details, but I think it had something to do with how the mind perceives certain things and how that pertained to animation and someone said that he doubted it (and really, it was a rather asinine statement on Dobson's behalf - asinine enough that even a layman could see it was a fallacious statement).
Dobson obviously tried to defend his point of view but when he was cornered, he cited a book that he claimed would make this exact statement.

When someone pointed out that he actually owns the book and nothing of the sort was actually said anywhere in it, Dobson first called the guy a troll who didn't really own the book, but ultimately had to admit that the guy indeed did own the book and that the statement wasn't in it.
Did he gracefully admit defeat? Did he try a different angle to better support his claim? Did he try to find common ground?

Nah, he just went "lol you idiot! Sure, I mentioned I read it in a book and then named [that particular book], but I didn't say the statemant was from [that particular book]! Wow, you must be stupid to think I was talking about [that particular book]!"

Goddamnit, I wish I could remember when this exchange happened and where. It was pure Dobson Gold.

And when the SJW start to fuck up everything with their filthy touch and longtime fans call foul, the SJW put on their best shit-eating grin and go "If you don't like it, just don't buy it!". Sadly, a lot of companies have fallen for this trap.
Marvel, DC, countless gaming companies, they all are way too eager to ditch their longtime fans (the people that made them rich and relevant in the first place) in favor of whiny assholes that have no intnention of buying any Marvel, DC, gaming product no matter how the content panders to them.

SJW don't want a certain kind of content in a game so they can buy the game, they just don't want the other content to exist. They literally can't bear that content to exist for not other reason than being petty assholes that assume they have the moral highground to be the thoughtpolice.
And they know when they make a lot of ruckus to seem more numerous than they are and when they insinuate that the "problematic" content is what prevents them from buying, they'll get their wish.
Will it change their attitude? Nope. They'll just find something else to bitch and moan about - and they will never buy the product in question... or at least be loyal to it as the original fans were.

And Dobson, who's too much of a muttonhead to form his own opinions, who has to constantly jump on bandwaggons cause he is literally unable to foresee the trends, will be sitting at the roadside, all too happy to clap at his idols bitching and moaning about absolutely inconsequential bullshit.

ps: sorry, kinda got carried away for a moment and ended up posting quite a wall of text...

It'd be funny to see him in a debate class.
He'd just scream "stop harassing me you goobergraper!" while frantically searching for a "block" button, then break down in tears and claim that he now has PTSD.

I've seen some early reviews by film crtics, and they've mentioned that the camera work is great (since Shamalamadingdong hired a cinematographer who knows what they're doing) and that despite the trailer making McAvoy look silly, his performance in the film knocks it out of the park. I'm guessing it's a case of the trailer being edited by someone who is a complete moron, or wasn't given clear instructions on what mood and tone the trailer should convey.

Andrew Dobson is Professor of Politics at Keele University (UK).
the poor bastard

Multiple Personality Disorder is fake.
Why? Because there were virtually no reports of the "disorder" until it was basically created by Hollywood, in a movie called "Sybil", during the 70's.

While I'm not going to argue if mpd is a thing or not, I feel like I should point out that The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde pretty much dealt with the idea of two conflicting personalities. Sybil may have brought the possible phenomenon to popularity, I don't know, but I definitely wouldn't say it created it. (Devils advocating, maybe? I just really like Jekyll and Hyde :autism:)

That story was about alcoholism, not really mpd.
