Linux Mint. It is very easy to install and is completely free. PC gaming on Linux has come a long, long way in recent times. You can install Steam, sideload your Windows games, and run them as non-Steam games through Steam's client. All of this is free. You do not need to pay to use Steam's client to run pirated games whatsoever.
If you don't want to use Steam, you can use
Lutris. That is also free. You can set your computer to boot directly into Steam or Lutris, sync a Bluetooth controller, and just use your PC as a console. As long as you have a computer, you can do all of this
for free.
