@bfg I have heard the mantra "Don't fuck the fans." Probably because they act like groupies. Probably because they have higher expectations of what this will turn into. Probably because they are all a bit crazy with a higher percentage of narcissists, psychopaths and BPDs.

I guess they are not exactly like Rock n' Roll groupies who know that all they are getting out of this is to spend a bit of time with their star, a fuck or a blow job, and then "bragging "rights to take back home to your friends.

Does anyone else know what trouble youtubers have run into by breaking the "Don't fuck your fans" rule?

Honestly, if you have a good red flag detector and enough common sense, it can work. A LOT of crazy people will try to date you, but among all that manure, there will be one or two diamonds. That's the benefit of being popular.

Aron Ra married one chick that tried to debate him. They've been married for like 10 years now and she's doing all the behind the scenes stuff.

Pyrocynical has been in a very long term relationship with one of his fans that lives in another country (moved in with him now). She's an artist, so you gotta wonder who's the fan, with Pyro being a massive Sweaboo too, but they seem a happy couple.

Youtubers are more like Midwest emo where it's an incestuous scene with a lot of insiders and no fan separation because they're not famous enough to need it. They're fucking each other and other affluent assholes in the local scene more than anything else. I can't think of a specific case because they usually have decent opsec and optics, but have heard random gossip about the usual jailbait allegations and spergy guys who end up too deep with the first fangirl to give them attention. Pretty mundane and unverifiable on the whole.

I am a very responsible person. I know what will get me so I don't indulge at all. That being said I am responsible to the point of being horribly boring. I am not making huge mistakes that ruin my life, but I am also not taking enough risks to excel at life either. There needs to be a balance here.

Well, getting married was the first mistake.
