Because the people who donate can pat themselves on the back and use it as a footnote in their Opression Olympics Team roster. "Oh, how are we you doing? Me? well I am fighting the good fight and donating to TLL!"

Other people who donate may not be seeing Greta's trips as we do. They may think she is actually out in the Trans community and doing some actual good... which she isnt.

Most of the donations are coming from people who aren't that interested in Greta and Nina, and think the donations are actually going to the Lifeline. They don't see Greta and Nina's trips being funded by the TLL, or that they are using their salaries to do all of this rather then TLL funds.

Kind of sad, but these people aren't going to be the ones who will see all the dirt we have on TLL Greta and Nina, and they are the ones who need to see it the most.

I don't know about that. Like Greta blocked @Manapan, then went quiet because Phil started making crazy conspiracy theory accusations. I mean, it's not like she's spoken much about the topic since then, has she?

I think Greta was realizing that Phil is very much OK with looking batshit insane. That's not helpful when you need to solicit grants for your scam.

If she's smart, she'll slowly tiptoe backwards out of the room and be more wary of siding with Phil in the future.

I'm curious about her visiting Phil. If she posts pictures hanging out with Phil, she's dumber than I thought.

We also know at least one genuinely influential person called her out publicly about the slapfight. Goodness knows how many people did so privately.

She also never promised to donate to the GFM for Lizzie's cremation. She reluctantly tweeted the link after she could no longer deny knowing about it. By contrast, she's actively promoting a donation drive for the funerals of the trans women who died in the Ghost Ship fire.

I at least know the college progressives who proudly donate to TLL just do so because they know it's a hotline for trans people and don't do any more research than that, and if you criticize TLL then obviously you must have a problem, what are you against trans people or something? Why are you so skeptical of such an obviously good natured charity you bigot? /sneed

I think the only reason she tweeted/signal boosted the funeral expense link was because it had been set up by Elizabeth's sister, and not by @Manapan herself. If it HAD been set up by her, you can bet your ass that Greta would have shot that shit down in a second and complained to GoFundMe about "a TRANSPHOBIC murderer trying to profit on their victims death!!!1!" and have shut the thing down after a massive harassment campaign against it.

And didn't Greta kind of distance herself from Phil a wee bit after that one person of influence complained about it? I seem to remember her joining in on the Phil tirade against @Manapan until that person called her out on it and then it got suspiciously quiet on Greta's page between Phil and Manapan.

For a very, VERY brief period of time including what I'm starting to believe was her telling Phil to deactivate his account for a week and lay low. Now that the public has all but forgotten about Elizabeth's death and that Greta publicly supported accusing the widow of murder, Phil is allowed to slink back in and give attention and money she craves.

I find this incredibly ironic. Greta is a 6foot something ex Marine who plays with big knives and guns and crossbows for funsies. That is pretty much as masculine as you can get, dispite her being a "Real Wymyn!!1!". The mere fact that she is able to freely walk about as a Trans without being physically harassed or assaulted (like they all say they get everyday!) stems from the fact that she is a huge white man in a dress that is aggressive and mean spirited. I guess that old privledge is good for something after all, huh Greta?

Well. Speaking of huge violent she-orcs, Greta's gained another asspatter who's doing the whole "strong woman" schtick and "trans people shouldn't have to, but ought to , learn self defence" stuff. Her name is Athena Wigmore and, with the greatest of respect, she doesn't really pass all that well.
