you know I've been thinking recently and came to the realization that no one right left or center really has a positive vision for the future at this point.

sure they might have things they want to do like "lower taxes, or reduce immigration" but nobody really has a coherent overarching plan to leave the world in a better place then when we found it. even when i was a kid you'd have depictions of the future in media and it'd at least sometimes show like a utopia, but all over the west there feels like there is no optimism now that we're building towards a better world anymore, no "shining city on the hill" to strive for.

i can't tell if it's a byproduct or the cause of the world going to shit though.
Here's what makes me feel better: if the world ends, I hope it happens after my lifetime at least.

I mean, party platforms obviously can change completely generation to generation. Hell the current GOP is not the same as the GOP of the 00s, why would Democrats be different? Sure they’ll use similar language to previous campaigns like family values or equal rights, but the basic Foundation of what that mean will shift with their constituents. It’s baked into the two party system to have a fluid ideology that adapts to the current climate. Makes it harder for a third party to make any headway in politics.
It's more about what they have gone back on and everything they trampled over because they memed themselves into thinking that Trump was going to end the world if he became POTUS. The whole "it's not happening but if it is, it's not that bad and it's actually a good thing because Trump is worse!" ideology has given them a good enough excuse to go back on everything because the end justifies the means.

Changing your mind is one thing, becoming the literal definition of everything you once denounced is on a different ballpark.

You should listen to RFK Jr. more. I suggest you listen to him and Calley & Casey Means' interview with Tucker Carlson. It's more than just Trump winning and kicking illegals out. They are also pushing for men and women being healthy, both mentally and physically. These people are the ones advising the Trump campaign.

To secure a future for the US you really need to chop off the hands of the agencies and corporations strangling the citizens. Both Trump and RFK Jr. have said that they want their legacy to be healthy children and a healthy US in general instead of a generation addicted to Adderall and Fentanyl.

Oh gee, low cost of living, no tax, less government, less illegals, less crime is apparently not something Trump is striving for.
If Trump can actually get rid of illegals it will completely change the future of the country.

The optics will be ugly. It will be initially unpleasant. There will be gnashing of teeth. Probably a reduction in the availability of some things early on. I would expect cartels and gangs would put up some physical resistance but that will be brief.

It is not going to be a frolic through the park but we have to remove them or every aspect of the US will be lost in a generation.

Trump will get our energy industry going again which again improves the future of the country.

Then if he takes a bat to the DoJ that is just a bonus.

True change always is. Just wish Trump had been the “god-emperor” meme from day 1. Now here we are 2,500 days later and there’s flames everywhere.

A merciful man gives a second chance, but only a fool offers a third. If he cannot be half of what we need, we are the fools.

There was always going to be a time when the shitty way we live was going to come back and bite us on the ass. This is irregadless of immigration or trans rights, I believe society could not maintain a comfy worry free life with all the corruption greed and exploitation that is required so the masses can get their latest iPhone or Prada bag. We’ve known since the 60a shit like pollution and social security and the shift into a service economy would have major repercussions we just kept kicking the can down the line until we can’t do it anymore. Good times never last no matter how based and trad you think the government and society is because we have not solved the basic problems of human selfishness leading to bad policies, grift, and agendas.

Criminal asset forfeiture like crazy on everything illegals have will do wonders. Asset forfeiture to people who provide housing and support to illegals even better. Asset forfeiture on every ngo dollar the best.

Blue cities will either get addicted to the new revenue stream or go to war and get asset forfeiture killed. Win either way.

Trump got a lot more votes in 2020 than 2016,

Donald Trump had the highest number of votes in the USA's history, 74,223,975 (more than 11m votes than he got last time and almost 5m more than Obama when he was first elected, the previous record holder)... except for Joe Biden who supposedly beat him with an alleged 81,283,501 votes. 🤔

Also, I've been doing a little working out and discovered that 2020 had by far the largest increase in total number of votes compared to the previous election in history: 21,760,355. And the largest percentage increase in total number of votes since 1952: 15.92%.

That's one of the most suspicious letters ever. How did he know he was going to fail and how was he going to pay someone $150,000 if he failed since he'd either be dead or in custody like he is? And if he failed but managed to escape he could have just posted his bounty online or something. What was the point of leaving a physical letter with no guarantee the public would ever see it? And where is he getting the $150,000 for the reward from anyway?

I missed this a few days ago:

WE DON'T EAT PETS!' Haitians Protest Long Island Trump Rally

The angry Haitian yelling for the first minute is a good summary. The interviewer asks another guy about overwhelming the city population at 4:04, watch his answer if you want to get very angry and a bit more racist.
