I mean, party platforms obviously can change completely generation to generation. Hell the current GOP is not the same as the GOP of the 00s, why would Democrats be different? Sure they’ll use similar language to previous campaigns like family values or equal rights, but the basic Foundation of what that mean will shift with their constituents. It’s baked into the two party system to have a fluid ideology that adapts to the current climate. Makes it harder for a third party to make any headway in politics.

Well, right now, the current switch is that the Republican voters are seeing how the establishment has screwed them over with the economy and the military industrial complex. It's like they've paid attention and learned their lessons from the Bush administration after it was such a disaster, or something.

The Democrat switch, however, has gone from "Stop Wars!" to "Yaaaassss queen, more wars!" and "Free speech!" to "Gulags for the political opposition!" They would have been completely fine with everything that happened under Dubya's watch if he had been a Democrat, based on what we are seeing right at this very moment.

It's not so much a switch for them as it is them being finally exposed as tyrants and hypocrites.

Philadelphia has been caught rigging their elections in the past. Same with Atlanta. Chicago is the single most corrupt city in the country, I don't know why anyone thinks rigging their elections to keep them blue is above them. Making these overpopulated cities have virtually no will or say in these elections because the population density causes plausible deniability is completely in their wheelhouse. That's the kind of shit the DNC lives for.

If anything that's exactly how you SHOULD rig elections. Do it where it counts, as little as you have to in places where it's very easy for nobody to suspect it.

It's mostly available in Maine, but we have a food truck down here in... wherever I live.. that's themed after northeastern food- Lobster rolls, crab rolls, red snapper hotdogs, etc, that sells it.

He planned to visit but that apparently won't happen now. The Republican Governor of Ohio said that such an appearance from Trump would "strain" relations with the local community and he also slammed the former president for what he called "hurtful" rhetoric. This is the same man who also defended the Haitian immigrants and said that they help the economy.

As some who values loyalty a great deal, I can say it's shameful to watch a politician betray another member of their party for their own gain.

Every time I find myself pondering these uncomfortable, unanswerable questions, I can't help but wonder... "was the mustache man onto something?"

But even if he was. Even if one race or another has some biological advantage, I don't believe it matters much, these days, in civilized society. The playing field has become very leveled. You have to put in hard work to educate yourself, no matter your race. Every race has access to the same education, the same books, the same teachers. The skill floor of modern society is too high to claim any meaningful advantage by race alone.

But it sure is interesting to think about this stuff.
