The drug recovery program was to comply with the family court case, and that is a separate thing from the criminal case. He wasn’t charged with using drugs, but with possession of them. That, and unfortunately, the prosecution probably doesn’t have the time nor inclination to keep up with Nick’s Internet bs.

There's nowhere near as much of it to keep up with and they were keeping up before even raiding him. They even put his deranged cokestream in their arrest warrant affidavit. Possibly they have people keeping them aware of anything particularly useful, and at this point, there's no shortage of people motivated to do that.

I want to believe that they have taken a special interest, but this is just a personal hope, most likely. MN sentencing is highly regulated, so Nick is probably taking a long road to an inevitable conclusion of suspended sentence pending completion of names drug programme.

While I don't know that this video statement will hurt him in sentencing, it could very well hurt him badly in terms of the deal prosecutors offer him. His comments make it kind of clear that he is an entirely unrepentant drug user who neither accept responsibility for his actions, accepts that he did anything wrong or is going to do anything more than the state requires of him by compulsion.

See above. The sentence is almost algorithmically determined, but you are correct about the deal. If Nick is willing to comply with the drug program (or at least pretend like he did for his trust, parents, and marriage) he has nothing to lose by trying to get it tossed.

Nick will seethe about it, but I think he will go back in the degenerate closet to avoid prison.

Fun little fact about youtube. At least from what I personally have noticed.
Channels when they stop growing more or less hit a relatively "stagnant" minor growth. Think 1000 subs every month or so, etc.
Youtube just does this by directing "just" enough traffic to keep a channel floating. It's artificial but generally if a channel is doing well youtube won't derank a previously successful channel.
And when they do, it's real noticeable. Like Leafy. Most channels will never experience this in their life time until the creator stops making content.
Since November last year, he's been fucking losing 2k subs a month. That's Sterling levels of bleed out. And it hasn't stopped. Infact it's hit even 3-4k bleed out a month before. All organic.

He's entering channel death spiral now. Just like Sterling.

The funny thing about the whole situation is that he cancelled himself by his degenerate behaviors and addictions. Who would want to watch Nick sperg about his own legal case, cope, seethe and lie about how he's a perpetual victim? A far cry from the Depp and Rittenhouse days. The 2 main reasons he grew on YouTube in the first instance.

If I was Nick I would take a deep look at my life, think about the future and what I want from it. YouTube or streaming is not going to be there in any successful capacity. The fame and good feels from chats and SuperChats are not coming back either. That arc is over. From streaming to a large audience to only a small one, which will be mostly A-Logs anyways, is not gonna to be fulfilling, financially or personally. That part of life is now over. And gone forever.

Nick will have to either live off the funds from his parents for the rest of his life, or sober up, get healthy and get a real 9-5 to have any kind of independence from daddy's Trust fund and any ties that comes with it.

Could he go back to running a law firm, being a convicted criminal? Probably not. I don't see anything else but a mundane and boring normal life for this man in the future. All I see is a useless wife, a useless husband, kids that will grow to resent and hate them, a local area population that will know him for drink, drugs and child neglect forever more. It's myopic to see anything else.

Was it worth it Nick? It didn't have to be this way. Stop lying to yourself. Delete your streaming channels and log off permanently. Sort out your life for the benefit of your children. They are, and should forever be, your main priority and your reason to be a good man.

Sad times. I really do feel bad for his children They don't deserve this.
