I'll try and be as even handed as I can. If you are a well meaning democrat at this point and aren't just pulling the lever out of spite, misguided hope for great leader to bring about the worker's revolution or TDS then you are absolutely and completely without a party at this point much like the non warhawk not neocon baby bush hating right was for decades plural. Because there's no way in hell you can be consistent with your beliefs or a majority when there isn't even a particular peep about reforming the party amidst "Blue no matter who" drowning you out.
It's easy to mock your enemy and deny them any shred of good faith or credibility when they spent nothing but 30 years doing the same to you and using every single avenue from corporate to government to private to do so and screaming that you're literally hitler and re-double their efforts when you finally get sick of their shit and backhand them.
If a reasonable left winger can still vote for the current establishment whole cloth then that is proof manifest that they absolutely don't take ENOUGH issue with their party abandoning every single core value of the working class, health care, quality of life, the environment (For actual - Clean air and clean water and punishing the big polluter nations instead of saying "Let them in! More plastic bullshit facotries for deadpool funkos! En Masse! More eaters! More western level consumptive polluters!" while grifting carbon offsets and licensing out an expensive logo and regulation to slap on things for kickbacks) along with the legal and moralization platform they used to have of having paths to criminal reform that are sane and not "Let rapists out of prison to put the racists in" and more.
At best you're not voting for the party you're voting against the other guy out of obligation.
And even if you ARE still a true believer, the problem is their individual beliefs, sometimes like our own when the options for ballots are piss poor. Are rendered utterly irrelevant when the parties they vote for no matter who are the caricatures and pushing it ever further themselves. The big problem of sometimes not giving them ANY credibility and sometimes going too far with it is the things they are doing, running damage control for, lying about and outright gaslighting people over and the platforms they stand on are no longer a smuggie parody mspaint drawing nor a /pol/ comic but factual. It is not a funny joke and a lampooning to say Kamala once said they supported tax payer paid tranny surgery for migrant prisoners.
It's not a funny shitpost to say that the party who spent 8 years banging the "Trump will start a war!" drum is practically champing at the bit at the idea of rebooting the iran conflict or fighting the ruzzians openly and full mask off. It's not an exaggeration to say the party that calls you nazi all day long literally set up and called in snitch lines to their local police during covid. It's not even a gag or a bit anymore besides adding a emoji at the end of it it is now just a dry statement of fact while looking out the window with a thousand yard stare between clowning on them at how utterly retarded it is it even got to this point.

Nor try to vote them out or walk them back for a more preferable options in any action way or meaningful momentum ever, Even with the rightoid retarded mix and match party now you will see open calls to get blatantly retarded or party line defying people out of their positions without obsessing and hand wringing over not having a monolothic single color party crew at all expenses and costs like the modern left does. It takes an act of god or dying of old age to take a democrat out of most positions and they're not even going to try to do better next time either.
Along with the super majority of \their guys\ in motion all looking like nothing more than establishment kayfabe on the best day, such as bernie getting cucked and giving up completely and utterly and just decided to retire with his no refunds donos. The orange man has had multiple assassination attempts and is still at it, love it or hate him. While the left regularly does this weird forced at gunpoint cheerleader schtick for whatever piece of cardboard on a stick their team wiggles around. Sometimes they don't even need to wiggle it - Ruth Bader ginsburg was being yass queened until the day she died and for a few weeks after. Now compare that to trump's rally base BOOING him for the vaccine talk a time or two. No contest.
TL;DR: People aren't going to exactly be fucking charitable to a hysteric glob of rootless careless people who are not only dumb, loud, violent, openly and blatantly backed by money and government and hard and soft power alike with a track record stretching back for as long as some people here have been alive. It's that type of contrast that adds to the pile of reasons to dismiss someone completely out of hand especially when the world's current hard times bear their collective fingerprints.
