Very possible I’m late and gay, but this YouTube video was suggested to me, which gives a brief overview of the criminal case (plus a mention of the Montagraph case). It mentioned Kiwi Farms as a source several times without any negative connotations. As the site continues to repair the damage made by Keffals and others through disseminating misinformation about the site, I was pleased to see the site referred to as a source and not a harassment website. @Null had recently mentioned on a recent Mad at the Internet building the reputation of the site in this direction so things like the current Wikipedia page can be updated/changed. I’m poorly paraphrasing, but that’s the gist of what was said.

I swear it seems like all members who joined in 2022 are mentally stunted.

I find it interesting that the video was suggested to you, since it seems like the term 'Kiwi Farms' isn’t shadowbanned by the algorithm, at least not entirely. I didn't hold back from mentioning Kiwi Farms in the video description either.

The NotebookLM podcast thing sometimes described Kiwi Farms neutrally, and other times called it 'infamous.'
My favorite instance was when it referred to Kiwi Farms as 'the digital anthropologist’s playground.'

And calling Rekieta a 'wet brained coomer'

Unfortunately, this version of the podcast didn’t make the cut for other reasons.

Out of curiosity, are you taking bits and pieces of different podcast generations to build out the one you posted or did you generate until you found one you deemed suitable and go with that?
I generated several versions until I found one that felt right.

The creative process is always a balance between the ideas you have for a project and the time you can put into it.

With the time I had, I couldn’t stitch together multiple versions of the 'Podcast' to create a more complete narrative. It seems the 'Audio Overview' feature in NotebookLM has a limit on the topics it can cover. That’s why I couldn’t get them to talk about the Montagraph case. If I do something like this again, I'll probably combine several iterations for a better result.

I don’t want to derail the thread, so if anyone has questions, feel free to DM me or ask on my profile. I’d be happy to answer and help out if you want to try something similar.

The judge's order was filed today, somewhat earlier than expected, following the omnibus hearing in Nick Rekieta's case and the filings by Nick's lawyer and the state.

The results?

Rekieta's motion for Franks hearing: DENIED
Rekieta's motion to suppress evidence: DENIED
All other omnibus issues not argued with particularity or otherwise specifically identified to the Court: DENIED (having been deemed to be waived by Rekieta)

Truly beautiful. Hope he enjoys paying that lawyer he's hired to lose for him on every point.

Was this previously known? That's interesting that Rekieta offered a STMS clip for evidence.

EDIT: Having read the whole thing now (IANAL), I believe it's talking about when Nick tried to argue that they had more than a falling out and offered proof to that end.

You beat me by 10 minutes. I was reading the document before uploading and then I scrolled up after making my post and there it is.
The order is glorious, Nick lost on every count, like every analysis predicted.

In this moment I just want to sit back and think about how incredibly smug Nick got after the omnibussin' hearing.

I always figured it was his hail Mary. He was going to see if he could get out of this stuff without a single convention. Will he choose now to beg for mercy from the prosecution and try to get a plea deal?

I really doubt it.

GO TO TRIAL NICK.
