Sorry for dredging back up a 2-week-old discussion but, as another Blue Archive fan, I absolutely agree. Most of the fans are mental and they've been on a tear for the last few months now regarding the localization changes for the Global version of the game because the localization team dared to commit the cardinal sin of... Adjusting certain lines of throwaway dialog in order to tone down the degree of romantic affections the Students express towards Sensei (our self-insert player character). Never mind the fact that the bulk of the game's MomoTalks (optional "relationship event" scenes you can unlock by raising the affection levels for individual Students you've recruited in the gacha) remain mostly unchanged in tone with regards to those aspects (particularly some of the more suggestive/blatantly fetish pandering events).
Now, Blue Archive admittedly has some issues with its localization at best. There's a lot of spots in event stories and such where the translation can be a little rough and gives the impression that work may have been rushed, especially since you'll easily glean cases of bad grammar or spelling here and there. They're one-off moments that can sometimes break the flow of reading, but otherwise mostly negligible if it weren't for the fact that they happen at least once per minimum for any given event story. The more rabid fans, of course, have been inclined to screech about these small issues, but most people with any amount of sense about them ended up turning those incidents into community memes and came to expect those smaller errors to take place.
This all changed when Volume 5 of the Main Story got released in Global, which added a few new students to the game that were relevant to this story update — namely, Kikyou.
Blue Archive has this feature that a lot of these waifu mobile games have in which you can set any Student you've acquired from the gacha on your main menu screen, complete with a set of spoken dialog when you tap on their character sprites. Kikyou had one particular set of dialog in Global that was originally presented as such:
Now, this is mostly fine. When you read Volume 5 for yourself, you can understand why she would express such a thing at all, since the crux of that particular story revolves around the fact that a senior Student she looked up to abruptly abandoned her beforehand. The girl clearly has developed hangups about that sort of thing, and her personality falls within the realm of the whole "pragmatic kuudere" archetype, so it also tracks that she would be inclined to express her attachment for you in such a seemingly detached and impersonal fashion.
The problems from the player community arose when a few popular fan translators incited a massive tantrum about this localization change leading to the bulk of the (vocal) English-speaking playerbase making the accusation that Nexon, or its localization team, was committing the heinous act of "censorship" and was already "going woke" because of the ways this same bit of dialog reads in the original Japanese and Korean scripts for the game (and also another case that got cited from one of her other lobby lines):

Cooler heads tried to question the rhetoric that the vocal majority of the community was espousing, naturally inclined to believe that this was insufficient proof that Nexon, or people working under Nexon, had some kind of malicious, "SJW" agenda in mind for altering the English script as such. The more definitive response they received, by this same translator no less, was to post another off-handed example where they chose to, again, tone down some of the more romantic implications in another student's dialog:

Eventually, just enough people finally got the hint that throwing loud tantrums on social media and being caustic under the replies of the Global PR account wasn't the way to get their voices heard in any official capacity, and instead realized that if you don't like something, you should report it through the official methods provided to the players for feedback. The Global team evidently received enough criticism this way that they finally pushed out a patch to "fix" Kikyou's dialog as such:
Seeing Nexon "bend the knee" to their rabid complaints galvanized the community, and cheers of "SEE? WHINING WORKED. NEVER LET THE NAYSAYERS SHUT US DOWN!" soon spread far and wide, and have since further emboldened them to continue with their fit-throwing any time they spy any indication that a line of dialog has been slightly altered in this respect going forward, with most completely ignoring the fact that Nexon doesn't seem to take action until enough people actually report those changes instead of just kvetching endlessly on social media about it. To this day, there are still cries of "censorship" and demands for Nexon to "fire all of their woke, malicious localizers" any time this issue inevitably pops back up again. Some of the latest complaints revolve around a line that, evidently, was not sufficiently reported enough to be altered until the last day or two of a previous event, with these people convinced that Nexon is definitely dragging their heels to push some kind of anti-lolicon agenda when "their whole game is practically based around the love of cunny[sic]."

Meet Akemi, a Student who was introduced as a Boss character for the aforementioned, most recent Summer event that happened on the JP/KR servers.
When she was initially shown off, along with her gameplay animations, she was, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, rather favorably received by most. One of Blue Archive's running themes in terms of character and personality design is that there's something there for every kind of taste. Big tits, tall girls, short girls, little girls (obviously), dark-skinned girls, NEET girls, ditzy girls, crazy girls, the list goes on. In keeping with this evident design philosophy, they finally pushed out a girl to appeal to the "big, muscle mommy" lovers that breaks the mold of the traditionally more feminine designs they use for a lot of characters, and for the most part, people do seem to be relatively satisfied with this.
However, there is a very vocal minority of English-speaking fans that are absolutely appalled that they dared to add this unfeminine, "adult" design to their precious game of small children, thus once again accusing Nexon of trying to push a "woke", malicious agenda that subverts what they perceive to be the "true" purpose of the game:

Whether or not you agree with their criticisms that Akemi "looks like a troon", I believe the fact of the matter remains that the reason behind their backlash isn't so much based in "Why are they putting troons in my game?" but moreso "Why are they ruining my game full of children with adult-looking designs?" at its core. These people are emphatically worth keeping an eye on, but at a distance.

Slight nitpick but the gook server is the same as the global server. That event will be released globally in a couple months' time. Doesn't change the fact that these chodes are fucking seething and malding over a "non-loli design" though.
As a silver lining though gook BA fans did uncover a money laundering scheme within Korea's game rating agency, which caused the government to give them a hefty fine and order them to replace every higher-up.
I have also noticed quite a lot of Indonesians and Thai people are fans of BA, which is interesting I guess. Only adds more to the overall subhumanness of SEAmonkeys.

Kind of late, but the mexican flag next to the post number is kind of interesting. On your first point, yes and no. Global is roughly six months behind the gook servers in terms of content release, but you are correct in that we get the same things they get over there in time, as long as they don't abruptly decide EoS between then and now for whatever reason (they shouldn't, BA should be something of a cash cow for Nexon at this point, even with the controversy that surrounded Project KV).
On your last point, yes. Portuguese too from what I've noticed. Basically, the brown skins and the SEAmonkeys are the most unabashedly degenerate.
