For those that are unaware, Chael Sonnen'sentire media philosophy is to take the most controversial or disagreeable position possible to bait engagement. He successfully played a good heel in fighting and tries to co-opt the same strategy on YouTube. Every single "opinion" he has in a video is carefully crafted to anger the largest number of people possible.

The fact that Ian is using Chael Sonnen™ to open an ideological video is laughable.

1) I'm sure people are upset about it.

2) There's no rules against criminals competing in sports. In fact, sports are played in prisons. There are rules against men competing against women in boxing, however.

3) Kobe Bryant was credibly accused of rape and he was on the USA Olympic team for years.
