Although, I hadn't considered his incorporation of religion as a means to justify what he's attracted to. I would have thought that he would have gone out his way to not think about God when he's engaging in his fetish because that would be far too confronting for him. Yeah, one of the more disturbing things was as I started looking into SSB9 is I thought perhaps I could search keywords related to his content (assuming those are pretty specific) but what popped up was hundreds of pages on FB that are "child models" with preteen girls in all kinds of outfits including swimwear with tons of weird guys in the comments responding "i love you" "ur so beautiful" etc. A lot of them had slavic sounding names and said they were run by parents, e.g., "Julia model" or "Katerina - child model" etc. SSB9 is unusual in how he tries to dress up as a child, but Facebook, which is pretty heavily moderated, is absolutely full of obvious pedo content. I guess it doesn't technically violate their guidelines, but it's disturbing that it's allowed to go on in plain sight.

Oh, I definitely didnt mean to imply I thought Christians generally sweep pedophilia under the rug. Sorry if it came across that way. I was tired when I wrote all that and generally come from a pretty religious background where Mary's age was discussed probably more than the average person experienced it so I dont think I clarified my thought process properly. I think the strongest link we have into SSB9’s real life is Kerrin Point and the Ethelred Estate. It’s inarguable that he lived there and has continued his fixation to present day - even a cursory Google for Kerrin Point brings up articles with comments from Miss Stefanie Stansfield back in 2019 (archive). However, all of the groups associated with the block and estate are now overrun with incredibly helpful Zoomers.

A potential lead is finding the electoral record for Kerrin Point while SSB9 lived there, hoping that he or his parents would have been registered to vote. Records prior to 2002 are considered historical (kill me), so there’s inconsistent ownership but I’m sure I could figure it out between the British Library and Lambeth Archives if we could pin down some dates.

For the question of flat numbers, Unbiased’s source from Lambeth Council for there being 20 storeys and 88 flats seems like it would be the most accurate, even though literally none of the contemporary news articles got that right. I know there was an earlier debate in this thread about the written format of the flat addresses, so I did some digging. I found a comment piece in the Evening Standard from resident Damien Rea in 1997 and his address is listed on Companies House as “77 Kerrin Point, London, SE11 6TW”. So when SSB9 refers to “number 88”, he’s almost definitely referring to flat 88 rather than a street address.

    • 1975: David is singled out and publicly berated by a teacher or headmaster in school. The incident is highly traumatic to young David. His grades suffer and he wishes to transfer to Dunraven School in Streatham.
