He's going to take the plea because he wants to keep the bodycam footage from going public. He doesn't want everyone to see how fucked up his house was. Literally all he cares about his PR and owning the KiwiFarms, he'd legit do time if it meant he could keep that footage from the public eye
That's *A* argument, yes, but a counterargument would be that taking a plea means admitting guilt and defeat. Whereas if he fights this to a guilty verdict by a jury, he could still claim he was wrongfully convicted and preserve an appeal

His guilt and innocence in this matter affects his online image as much as anything else.

Surely, SURELY (and I know I'm making a mistake as I type this) even Nick realizes that taking this to trial, with this fact pattern, is FUCKING DUMB.
We'll see soon enough.

Like I say, it might happen, but I don't feel comfortable putting money on it. I'm still on team "the man lacks the humility to admit he's fucked and plea out."

I'll put money on Aaron's felony being dropped, but not this.

What was that thing nick said when Greer got a bullshit judgement in his favour?

Oh no Nick bros, I don't feel so good. *smug fale laugh* what happened nicl bros?

Guess he should have spent more time learning the law and less time giving his kid cocaine.
Notwithstanding that appeals court decision, that case isn't doing so well for Greer now that it's back in the lower court. It's probably on its last legs. You can almost call it a tangential Balldo L. Or soon enough, anyways. God willing.

Didn't Barnes refer this lawyer to Nick?
That's what people assume. It seems likely. I don't think anyone in a position to say for sure has confirmed it though.
It's not 100% confirmed, but given White is in Barnes's orbit, and has worked with Barnes, I'd say it's like 99%. Nick picked a lawyer that lives a long ways away from him. Right on the border with Wisconsin, IIRC.

@Balldo's Gate coined the term "Barneswalker" for this reason.

What's interesting is that White used NONE of Barnes's arguments. Which suggests even the Barnes camp knows they're crap. I assume they were more for the consumption of idiot paypigs who don't know any better.

To hang the jury, he'd only need one. That doesn't get him what he really wants though. He wants an acquittal, or a dismissal.
Nick is already looking forward to his acquittal. Just before the guilty verdict, Nick's daydream will be:

BALDO will have to want to change inorder to restore process for family to even stick
We don't live in the world where we got that version of Nick where he has that post-high clarity of "what the fuck did I do to my life". Maybe a year ago you could say that he could've had that wakeup call, gone offline, quit the swinger shit, gotten clean, and repaired his dignity and reputation. But we live in the world where our Nick has doubled, quadrupled, octupled(?) down at every juncture. The Baldo of our world has demonstrated that he is not willing in the slightest to admit he fucked up.

The case is either unchanged or slightly worse for Nick. Congratulations.
Slightly worse? It's objectively WAY worse for Nick now. He absolutely needed that warrant invalidated and and the coke excluded to get any sort of W (legally, and not in the court of public opinion). Instead, the judge didn't just close the door on that, but slammed it.

It'll take a miracle for him to walk away from this legally unscathed now.

This was a HUGE L for him today. The worst he's experienced yet.

Nick is fucked.
And with all this he has fucked Kayla too.
There is no chance for her lawyer to argue any of the points Nick already tried to make.
Is she though? In perhaps the funniest potentiality: Kayla's lawyer is competent and raises the issues Nick's didn't. Kayla's charges get dismissed while Rackets gets convicted/incarcerated. The inevitable outcome being a divorce with Kayla and @Fapcop finally getting their chance for real.

Admitting guilt to the court is not the same as admitting guilt to his precious audience. Plenty of people take a plea deal then say they were innocent but "had to take the plea deal". I think he'll take the path that lets him reveal less to the public, that matters more than what the court thinks.

The judge just made a "Finding of Fact" regarding the validity of the affidavit and the resulting search warrant.
I am not sure everyone appreciates what this actually means. Nick and his moron of a lawyer just managed to get the judge to FIND THESE THINGS TO BE TRUE.
If they try to argue any of these things the judge can just point at this order.

That warrant is essential for Kayla's case as well, because evidence or a conviction in Nick's case for the identical charges can be brought up as evidence in her trial.
And the judge just found these things to be facts!

  1. Search warrant is valid
  2. Search is valid
  3. drugs were found (Guilty of Charge 1)
  4. use of drugs was found
  5. guns were found in the house (Guilty of Charge 2)
And since kids were in the house during the search, automatically guilty of charge 3.

The entire case against Nick and Kayla hinges on the drugs being in the house and the judge just ruled that the drugs were in the house.
Case closed. They are both not winning because the judge found it to be a fact that the drugs were there.

Nick and his moron lawyer, using their retard arguments and faggot ad-hominem attacks, made the judge go through the evidence and find those things as facts.
It is hard to put in words how STUPID that move was by Nick.

They could have argued all those things and tried to get a jury to not convict, instead the made a judge watch a video in which Nick talks about his colleague as "Judge Pussy Liquor".

lmao

Your post make me want to go look at his stats on Social Blade. Curiously, it looks like he either deleted or made a video private yesterday.
View attachment 6450553

I'm not sure which one is no longer showing, but the drop in video views usually indicates a deleted video or a video made private.

Nevermind. Comparing the videos on Rumble, it seems to be the 10 minute stream from 3 days ago.
Ah, good eye sir. Didn't pick up on that. I wish social blade stats weren't fucked with due to youtube hiding accurate numbers.
While of course all of Youtube is the work of human hands and in that sense artificial, I don't think this effect is necessarily artificial in the sense of being the intentional outcome of a particular action. Youtube wants to recommend videos and channels that viewers will watch, because more viewership means more ad revenue. The best predictor of what people will like is... things that are already popular.

So you have Youtube recommending videos and channels that get a lot of views and viewers watching videos and channels that are frequently recommended. This is positive feedback (in the technical sense, not the popular sense) and explains why random garbage suddenly becomes very popular and why a formerly popular channel would remain popular and then suddenly drop off.
Leafy's channel is a prime example of artificial tampering, and heaps of content all over the platform is artificially DIRECTLY marked down. Sometimes by people, most of the time through automation. Automation is the reason smaller channels suffer, because it's a vague autistic automaton who's put under contrived guidelines that fuck with channels that step out of line.
You surely have seen "boosted" channels before right? You know, the ones that go from literally 0 to 1 million in a month. That's overtly fake too.
You're not exactly wrong that there's a positive feedback loop, but it's very different from a channel that's been around for years still having stability. Only to suddenly start bleeding out. That just doesn't happen naturally unless one of two things happen.
A. You stop uploading for ages. (Spoony)
B. You sink your reputation (Rekieta, Jim Sterling, Completionist)

Actually, speaking of. The Completionist is a good example, because his channel was basically dead views wise. But he was still gaining like 10k subs every month or so. That's actually the artifical prop up I was taking about. It is possible that youtube might pull the plug on such a thing but it's kinda hard to notice.
