To be fair to the devs I seem to recall an interview where they said that the "Ghost of" series was going to be more of an anthology of different stories from feudal Japan with different protagonists and occasional crossovers/sequels.
Pretty much the Sony exclusive version of Assassin's Creed.

Did a spit-take. No way most of this is real. Guess I have to watch it...or at least skim through it. Saw a lot of nothing and I'm glad I stopped being Snoy fan after the age of...what, 6? Also, Ghost of Yotei, not sure how I feel about it, I hope it's an actually good female character but chances of that are low, also inb4 it's a PS5 exclusive like Tsushima for 4 years
. Otherwise, State of slop, Slop of play, Slop of Slop, take your pick. In the meantime, back to actually good games.

I like them but I understand why people don't. What I don't get is why nobody has made a monster hunter clone with actual monsters instead of dinosaur OCs.

I don't watch Sony's housebrand Nintendo Direct.
But I watched the trailer for Lunar. It looks inoffensive. I hope it actually is. Gungho sucks and fucked up the dead easy ports of Grandia & Grandia 2 also originally made by Game Arts. I don't know why anyone would play this version over the Sega CD or PS1 versions or PSP versions you can play right now.

There was Earth Seeker on the Wii, but it was Japan-only and nobody played it. It was a pretty fun Sci-Fi take on the MonHun concept where you're a survivor from an Ark Ship that crash-landed on a habitable planet, and the ship's computer fucked up the DNA of all the creatures and mixed it up with blueprints for machines and such, creating hideous hybrids. And you get to fight these things in order to recover precious artifacts and works of art, using a gang of drunken Ewoks.

This and Astro Bot were the highlights for me. Might get Soul Reaver since it's apparently coming out for Switch too, which is a little weird to think about.

This event sucked shit except for Monster Hunter Wilds, Alan Wake 2, and Ghost of Tsushima 2. To be more precise, 2 minutes and 30 seconds of this event did not suck total shit. The rest were lazy remasters of mid games no one asked for, remasters of games that don't need remasters, ripoffs, boring indie games, Dragon Age: Dev Hell, and advertisements for hardware/services.

Best batch of monsters wilds has showed off so far, but they spent more time showing off the story, and that aspect looks so fucking bad. Worse than literally no story at all. Voice acting can at least be switched to japanese, but fuck me, this sounds worse than the worst of world's and rise's voice acting combined.

I suspect it's a shitpost listing, but I do genuinely wonder if anyone would ever actually purchase such a "service." So many unanswered questions -- do they get a refund if the seller can't get the coveted item? If not, what level of "attempt" does the seller have to engage in? Is it enough to say "yeah I called Best Buy and they said they didn't have any" or does he have to take pictures of empty shelves with the PS5 Pro product label from a variety of stores to satisfy the terms? What recourse (if any) does the buyer have if the seller just never replies after the sale (except when ebay contacts him for the dispute)?
The mind boggles. Still a funny shitpost though. You just know somebody is thinking about pulling the trigger on it.
