You Know What Grinds My Gears? - Things that personally piss you off

Hulu Plus Live TV. Internet connection is fine, says "We're Having Trouble Playing This...". Glad we only have it for football season, literally double digits this weekend, during games!!!

I fucking hate that every non-child toothpaste is some kind of mint-flavored bullshit. It's always just leaves my tongue with an unpleasant, burning sensation and is half the reason why I hated brushing my teeth growing up.
Knowing that Taylor Suck Ass Swift will be all over tonight's game. She makes me want to puke!

I get this when I don't want minty fluoride toothpaste because for some reason recently I find it nauseating in the mornings on an empty stomach especially sometimes.

Get some of the $5+ toothpaste that prevents gingivitis and such, the taste is completely different. I can't even use the mint-flavored shit because i get inflamed gums from it. Teeth are the one health aspect where i am not skimping on anything.

Oh, trust me, I'm already using good quality stuff. Only issue is current me is paying for the stupid shit younger me did to myself, so I need to make sure anything I get a) lowers sensitivity and b) strengthens the enamel.

Also, related thread tax: I'm tired of having to get pissed off with people to do their fucking jobs. I don't like being a prick to people on the phone, but fuck me if that doesn't seem like the only way to get shit done.

Weed heads or whatever the fuck you call them. I have a coworker that repeatedly runs into problems when she smokes weed, and she gets really defensive whenever the sensible solution of "stop doing drugs" is presented. "No, you don't understand, I need it for my anxiety!" Bitch, I'm rawdogging life fine, you just don't want to grow up.

Fucking thank you. It is so tiresome hearing "it's all natural"/"I need it for muh pain/muh anxiety/muh stress", while I have way more on my plate and I don't resort to being a loser druggie to deal with my problems.

Driving down the road when that one guy decides to come to a complete fucking stop before turning right down a road he has every right of way to go down without stopping

You're not going to flip your Kia soul taking the turn higher than 5 miles an hour
Even worse are the dumbass fucknuckles that insist on taking an interstate on-ramp like there's a fuckin tennis ball under their gas pedal. Entering 80mph traffic at 40 seems like a great idea, you CR-V driving numbskull.

Visited town over the weekend and went into Waterstones (major UK bookstore). Some of the members of the group are book types so it's usually for their sake, but I had a couple of bits I was curious about too (mainly wanted to see if I could get something to help with learning Japanese or British Sign Language).

Curiosity compelled me and I looked at the shelf for political literature. Maybe hoping there was something interesting since I've heard people talk about stuff like Rules for Radicals and it seems quite interesting to potentially see what the guidebook is. Maybe something about the nature of the conflict of ideas. Instead it was shit like "why I don't talk to white people about race" and some anti-racism workbook (yeah, a workbook, you had sections to write in).

Might have caught secondhand cancer from that section. I knew there was gonna be some shit but I was kinda taken back by how that was basically the entire shelf, not even a little book on group dynamics or anything hidden away.

Worst part is, they didn't have any language-learning resources at all. Just travel guides.
