"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

a silver dollar from the 20's that said "In God We Trvst."
What's really funny about old US money is that we didn't put any presidents on coins until after the Civil War and then we didn't put it on everything until after the Federal Reserve and particularly after FDR.

Before the Civil War, money continued the American Revolution's fetish for greek and french motifs. Mercury on the dime, Liberty on the dollar, fascaes and eagles, no people until George Washington was put on bills. There's probably something to take home about our idolatry towards dead presidents vs the concepts they actually promoted.

Also if i'm not mistaken, "In God we trust" was a relatively late addition to US currency?

The Apotheosis of Washington (a) dates from 1865 so I suspect you're right about identifying the Civil War as the breaking point for America. It would also be right around when the last living people who had actually known Washington were all dead.

Niggers and their consequences are the cause and punishment for all America did wrong, and it didn't start in the 80s, not even the 1880s, but goes all the way back.

Apotheosis (literally, elevating to a god) is a symptom of a deep wound in the psyche of the country, one that has never healed - and a big part of modern politics is that the "Good Goys" are just people who worship the godhead of Washington, Lincoln, and Reagan instead of the Trinity. (Shuffle and add as you wish, some would put Jackson very high there.)

Americans find it very, VERY hard to admit their country might have really done or been wrong about anything, even the ones who rail and complain and paint them all as evil niggerhaters don't really believe things like "the civil war was wrong" or "the revolutionary war was wrong" or "the nuking of slant-niggers was wrong" - and so they construct foundational myths that demonize the other and sanctify America.

Wickedpedo traces "In God We Trust" back to the Star-Spangled Banner (fourth stanza, remember Pratchett: "It is considered in the Sto Plains that only scoundrels know the second verse of their national anthem, since anyone spending time memorizing that would be up to no good purpose.") and the general expansive use of it to ... the Civil War.

Interesting Null related factoid: "In God We Trust" (also rendered as "In God we trust") is the official motto of the United States as well as the motto of the U.S. state of Florida, along with the nation of Nicaragua (Spanish: En Dios confiamos)."

Sounds like we know where he's going next ....

Now that this situation has calmed down, I think the recent saga of Colton Lochmann coming back onto KF to scream at everyone deserves a mention. Another cow (Zoey / emoboyfucker69 / @mitsufan) got involved with this, and allied with him for only a day, just to turn her back on him for asking this barely legal pooner with BPD and the maturity of a 14 year old to go burn his enemy's house down.

@Axiom the Fucker made a really good detailpost that references everything you need. This got crazy fast, especially when another psycho bitch threw herself into the fire

I guess we know why tom likes destiny so much. He just wants money and to satisfy his lustful desires, He uses the safe edgy persona because it will guarantee him views and influence with zooms. Also, I can't stand that constant zoomer talk he spews out, that's probably why he's so retarded, it must have melted his mind.

Josh you asked on MATI why Legal Mindset's chose to heavily lean into the vtuber audience. As you may know he's very much a libertarian stereotype and lives in Asia with yellow fever. He has been a weeb before getting into vtubers and had his locals weeb streams before. Then an interesting legal case happened with one of the two biggest vtuber agencies. A combination of no other lawyer covering it (no high profile western weeb laywers and Japanese Lawyers refusing to comment due to retarded JP defamation law), his YT channel stagnating and him having prior interest in weeb stuff, he decided to cover it. Since it was a pretty high profile case a lot of people discovered him trough it and his channel started to gain subscribers again.

Going from stagnant 100k to 160k after covering Vtubers now pretty much half of his audience are weebs and he seems to genuinely enjoy it unlike mr. Balldo.
