You're arguing that a teen pregnancy is unwanted and a teen mom is disinterested. It's not ideal to be a teen and pregnant, but that doesn't mean teen moms who become pregnant and don't get an abortion or put the child up for adoption don't actually want the baby and are disinterested.
Chantal is a compulsive liar, we don't know that her mom was disinterested. ITT, people are stating that since her grandma took care of her while her mom was working and finishing school (she was 17 when she had chantal), that she was neglected and raised by her grandmother till her mom was finally interested, and that's some weird fictionalized , after school special version of chantal's childhood.
She's said her grandmother watched her while her mom worked. There's nothing wrong with that. Also, there's nothing wrong with daycare. If her mom needing someone to watch chantal while she worked makes her a disinterested mother to a neglected child, making adoption the ideal scenario per your post, then all parents who work and need daycare, even thrilled adoptive parents, are disinterested and neglectful. And that's just not true.

Her mom didn't abort her, so she wasn't unwanted. Also, just because someone is an adoptive parent doesn't mean they are a loving parent, adoptive parents can be abusive.

Maybe she's forgetting that weed will be illegal again in Thailand in January. She's been hitting those edibles harder and harder.
Salah tried restricting her portions and correcting her terrible manners when she first got to Kuwait. Not long ago, he took another stab at getting her to "go to the gym", swim and take walks outside.
He knows damn well he can't control her - even Salah isn't so totally stupid that he can't remember the last two years. He can't even get her to stick to her alleged daily food budget in Thailand.

That's news to me. I wrote about Chantal's mother, Chantal's childhood, and my belief that Chantal would have been better off placed for adoption to stable parents at birth.
