So which one is it ? Typical Ubislop quality because of diversity hires i.e. game is complete broken and needs months of additional patching ? Or someone actually realized have been shitting on the Japanese too much and are trying to change things about all the historical inaccuracies ?

Lol, delaying Assassin's Creed just puts it closer to humiliating comparison with Ghost of Yotei. In particular, both games are now slated to be contending with each other for 2025 awards.

The news came via a company financial statement and update, which included the delay of Assassin’s Creed Shadows and the announcement that Star Wars Outlaws underperformed. The statement read,

Its 100% damned if they do, damned if they don't. If Ubisoft release a AC game with a black dude beating up a bunch of Asians a whole category of Jap Youtuber will be created just dunking on libtard focused games that completely get their history and culture wrong.

Wonder how much good money after bad Ubislop is going to throw at this extended turd polishing (the DLC also includes that as an optional objective) exercise.

February of next year is looking to be a decently packed month. Maybe they are using that release date as an excuse if the game bombs instead of the racist chuds being right about their shitty niggerai. I really don’t see this shit doing better than Monster Hunter that releases the same month.

Fuck I’ve seen people be more excited for that Avowed game than Ass Nigger and that’s in February too. While I think that Ghost game looks like woke trash it’s going to destroy Shadows easily. Ubisoft would only get a W by removing the nigger all together, slap some white paint on the model and remove the watermelon sucking lips and dreadlocks. Just change it to a big Asian dude and bam you’ve fixed it lol. They won’t and nothing will change but it would be hilarious if it happened.

This situation Ubisoft found itself in is fucking hilarious. I'm not an expert in this industry, so correct me wherever I'm wrong. Just saying how I see it.

The future of the company depends on how well Assassin's Creed: We Wuz Samurai does. This game has to succeed, or they're fucked.

I believe them where they say the delay is for polish. They have so much hinging on the success of this game, that they are actually (for the first time in years) making a real effort to get game as bug-free as humanly possible before launch. They're scared shitless, so that polish is going to have to be nickel chrome. Problem is they're polishing a turd.

The only thing that can save this game is to de-woke it from top to bottom, and there's no chance in hell they're going to that, because they're in too deep and gaming journalists are gaming journalists.

I believe Ubisoft is finished.

Woke doesn’t even matter, there's no way to make it "authentically" Japanese or even authentically anything with Ubisoft's bloated and shitty "just go where costs are lowest" game mill style of team building. Is it any wonder that Yuri (Bucharest,), Francois (Quebec), Muhammed (Leamington Spa, UK), and Pajeet (Delhi), don't give a fuck what the torii they GISed to base art on was actually from? If you don't give a damn about building a strong team then they won't give a damn about building a strong game.

They're probably pushing it to next quarter so that their losses don't look apocalyptical. I know it's in the memory hole now, but Outlaws released not two months ago, cost a fortune to make (and get the license to Star Wars), and was a complete failure. If they have two massive bombs on the same quarter, they may have to go private and probably sell themselves to Microsoft, Soy or Tencent.
