No, they had a bunch of stuff on their youtube, including live shows and trailers for recent releases.

Without knowing more, I'm assuming they got flagged by a studio bot who can't differentiate between fan clips and licensees.
Part of the reason they run those kickstarters is because of the licensing fees being so goddamn expensive. The license to get a rifftrax live treatment, normal licensing, all that shit.

More details, released today:

Most recent of the recent Riffs I just watched was this number: https://www.rifftrax.com/body-count

A low-budget action film from the 1990s, starring Sonny Chiba, Robert Davi, Bridgette Neilsen and Jan Michael Vincent, I think something about cheap action films from the 1990s makes for really winning Rifftrax entries.
Oh nice. I too really enjoy when they riff some cheesy action.

Weird stuff with the "Mads are Back"/Dumb Industries place - Trace and Frank have been on a break for a couple of months, and now they're having a telethon where half goes to the company, half to a food bank:

I wonder if they're running out of money? I will say there's obstacles that don't exist with Rifftrax - it's not as easy to buy their stuff (you go to their site, they send you to Vimeo, you have to watch it there). They only do public domain films which can be a bit rough. And Frank does do political "jokes" which date the riffs - like it's not Trump jokes, he gets in the weeds with references to things that are instantly forgotten.

Frank definitely does. Back when I had a twitter account I had to unfollow him because the orange man sperging was too much. Dude was ridiculously easy to bait.
Trace always seemed like a good guy, but ended up getting screwed pretty much by Mallon after the movie flopped and probably didn't get that much income out of the whole ordeal. Frankl's a real bastard, so screw him if he's broke.

The show didn't really lose much when they left either. The mad stuff was always my least interesting part of the show, especially after Joel and the invention exchanges were gone. They didn't let the guy from the first eps, Weinstein as Trace's sidekick last long at all, and he was indeed annoying.

He was like literally 17 or something and the stress got to him

Can someone get me the two star trek fan made episodes they did? Id love to watch em tear it apart.

Hmm. I think id prefer a unpublic YouTube link or some kind of file share. Not the end of the world if it's less of a hassle to just buy it. I just figured somebody knew of a streaming site or something
Ah, gotcha. I don't know if they are out there except as torrents, and sadly I lost the links I used for the magnets. Try RUtracker if you are feeling brave and lucky.

rutracker is fine. I've used it for years for obscure things I can't find anywhere else. The only issues I ever had was when I downloaded Skyrim and Ralouf was speaking Russian in the intro. Nords speaking Russian is fucking kino.

MST never really made it big here, but the German dub of the movie became a bit of a cult hit. The dub was done by two established comedians and deviated heavily from the original jokes, which is good because many of the original jokes in MST don't really make a lot of sense to non-Americans. Sadly, it's very hard to find these days. Gotta find a DVD on sale since it's nowhere to find online.

I loved MST3K as a kid, on Comedy Central (or whatever it was called then) and later on SciFy with Pearl. I thought Mike was a better host than Joel, just because Joel came off so stiff.

That said, I recently rewatched a couple episode and while they were funny, they didn't quite hit the funny bone like they did 25 years ago. I guess it was one of those things where "you had to be there" at that time and place, plus I grew up or matured or whatever you want to say. I got old and my sense of humor changed.

But it was a great show at the time and was like just ripping on bad movies with my friends just like Wayne's World was like hanging out in a basement with my long hair heavy metal friends back when I was in high school. The humor is bad at times, and definitely dated, but it was like going back in time to my youth and was still nice.

This wouldn't happen to be SchleFaz, which is spammed in many movies' IMDb trivia sections, would it? I always see it mentioned in the trivia and downvote it because it has nothing to do with the movie trivia.
