Long-time lurker of this thread and first time poster here. I think it's unreasonable to be mad at Sophia for opening up commissions (even if it's for overpriced and often times ugly art). This is the first time she's shown iniative to do something to materially improve her situation, instead of sitting on her ass and whining about how much of a victim she is like she usually does.

It's not ideal like getting a GED/real actual job would be, but at least she's doing something? I feel like she should probably try to figure out a secure living situation and get off the internet to focus on getting a highschool diploma/equivalent, though.

Noone here is mad, but more or less confused, considering the amount of money she got from the gofundme.

It's quite obvious that her followers will throw money at her regardless.

I like how this is phrased as if people on KF were going to buy birdie's art if it was cheap. But I agree, it's...something. Even if she just got a clean 10k, but oh well.

We all know birdie wouldnt be capable of living on its own so i doubt it plans on getting an apartment or house

it’s a really, really weird time to open them. okay, sure, she’s making art while she’s supposed to be focusing on her living situation, but opening commissions on top of that? how does she have the time to do any of this?
especially when she’s gaining a lot of traction as a self-proclaimed victim of synni, WITH the 10k she’d recieved
comes off as a bit greedy, or at the least unneeded

Has birdie made any updates on her situation? Has she even attempted doing what she said she was gonna use the 10k on? Like relocate herself and her cats? Anything? Not to be suspicious, good for her if shes doing commissions but what has she done with the money? I mean it hasn't been that long since she got those 10k. I don't know I think the people who gave her money deserve updates on that

She‘s just been couch hopping or something, no? I don’t think she has spent the 10k yet — at least not for its intended purpose of securing a home. I guess I don’t blame her too much, I can see how it would be hard to find a place to stay in a short amount of time with her tense familial situation and I don’t know where she is either, maybe housing is particularly expensive etc.

But I’m still stuck on how she literally didn’t need to move urgently. Synni didn’t groom her. Synni wasn’t gonna kill her or the cats or even herself. They have both said they loved and deeply respected each other, Birdie could be living with Synni, not really on speaking terms and disavowing her actions while she finds somewhere else to live but that would require too much communication, wouldn’t it? The way Birdie described NEEDING to ESCAPE you’d think Synni had a murder plan.

To Birdie, living with a potential groomer, just looks bad on her reputation. It's quite obvious that Twitter was quick to tell Birdie to leave immediately, despite if she wasn't in any real danger. However, I also noticed the videos on this, spotlight Birdie more than the victim.

Even if Eno wanted to remain anonymous, you'd think people would be more concerned if Synni is still in contact or not with the minor.
