I'm confused too--all those gotchas about Vance just show he's level headed and his ideology is close to current populism. I mean, read the constituency, Dems. The people who would disagree with those takes were already going to vote against him and Trump anyway. Unless I'm missing something. And anyone who's against eternal funding of Ukraine has my vote.

Pivot: I'm starting to understand why Carville is having a conniption, stroke, and heart attack all at the same time. Kamala beer? Kamala going on a basic white girl podcast (that's the drift I'm getting)? Kamala and the "white men for Kamala money laundering/let's see how fast we can light a match to 10 mill" group? Good grief, this is epic levels of bad strategery.

Not just Kamala either. He was freaking out when Biden was the nominee too. He has to understand the woke mind virus is killing the Dems even if he's philosophically agreed to it.

I was watching this video of Tim Walz ordering donuts, and he sounds like a part robot, part grandpa cyborg. Then I noticed something strange in the comments: most of them have suspicious names like John Smith and no profile picture, or they have what looks like a fake person; for example, here's a screenshot.

I'm 90 percent certain they are botting these comments, or it could just be Democrats act like robots. Who knows, here's the link.

What does Syria have to do with Ukraine

Because US-Russian relations were falling apart due to our backing of terrorists trying to overthrow a Russian ally in 2016. Americans actually fought Russians in 2018, US fighting for AQ, and Russia fighting for the legitimate government. (We destroyed them, so you can beat your chest over how the good guys won.)

Your inability to see how things are connected goes a long way toward explaining your unironic neocon takes on everything.

Your inability to consider how the 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia might have crushed US-Russian relations and re-jiggered US foreign policy towards Russia goes a long way towards explaining how you're a fucking moron.

The US didn't decide "ooga booga Russia bad" out of nowhere. Russia did things that made the US think "hmm, maybe Putin is actually a fucking asshole."

Anyone with four or more numbers on their username is a fucking bot.

Crimea isn't in the United States or Syria. Doesn't really justify the USA's support of Islamic terrorism in Syria or our illegal invasion and seizure of its sovereign territory.

Just gonna drop a quick note that there's are several dedicated threads for the Ukraine War.
Which is why I'm talking about Syria. One reason I supported Trump in 2016 is it was very clear that the US MIC and the neolibs/cons were gearing up for full-scale war with Syria, and I am 100% done with that shit.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the argument that the US invading, bombing, backing a coup, starving civilians, arming terror cells, etc is worth it because some party involved isn't being democratic enough, where "democracy" is just code for "they let us build a pipeline or have a military base there."

100% done. I am all but fully isolationist now. My utopia is one where it is illegal to be gay or a woman and our army's only job is to shoot everyone who gets too close to the border.

The American Caliphate of Damascus lol

The problem is that you literally have no choice at this point. America has royally fucked up after 9/11, dragged everyone down to it's bog of shit and now you want to back out?
Good luck, sport.
I'm sure the widespread migration of jihadi lunatics that America also had a part in will make you feel as self righteous as ever when more and more heads will be chopped off.

Nigger, you cannot be serious right now.
America, or someone else doing shit for "democracy"? Next thing you'll tell me is that Putin legitimately invaded Ukraine because Rurik 2 ate bison kebab in Moscow in the 8th century BC during the Korean Hyperwar, like he said in the Tucker interview.
My bro, you know very well all of this shit is for influence and resource shuffling. You can bitch out and be a coward all you want, you can keep your sympathy.
America has been loosing rep across the world because it became a corrupt bitch and it makes me laugh whenever stupid motherfuckers think that isolationism will change anything.
Lock yourself in the basement. Let the world burn. And imagine that America is wholly self sufficient when a lot of its labor is done by illegals working for pennies, that I've no doubt you want to get rid of too, and your main competitor runs on literal slave labor.
100% done. I am all but fully isolationist now.
You're a 100% retard now lol
My utopia is one where it is illegal to be gay or a woman and our army's only job is to shoot everyone who gets too close to the border.
Then go to North Korea, bitch.

The damage is long done. America led the world into this fucking bullshit and no amount of isolationism is going to change anything for anyone, but make things worse.

I am so sick of this fake camouflage hat shit with these demons. They are seriously trying to pretend that they are just typical outdoors, rural regular folks.

Syria was already a mess long before any US involvement. It’s been caught in so many civil wars that is has greatly reduced the population (and said fights are mainly on what brand of Islam should rule the land). On a geopolitical scale, it’s only relevant so far as it is aligned with Russia, but even that isn’t enough to make it stay relevant (because the country is imploding on itself). No amount of US involvement in Syria is as destructive as the Syrian government has been to itself.
