It could also be his boss just wanting Adam to enjoy his vacation and not think about work for now but Adam thought to twist his words for attention-posting content. His Japan posting hasn't exactly garnered the asspats he's looking for, so now he's going back to the pity party approach - those manage to get more bites.

That said, unemployment would be a better arc just for drama purposes. Mrs. White better be setting aside allowance money for Adam just in case.

Do note Chibster said in this recent stream that he took off the entire month, not only the 2 weeks in Japan. That means he hasn’t worked in much longer.

And yeah top that off with the fact that he also got off work multiple weeks this year twice before (I think).

This baby dares to complain about his work while being able to fund multiple overseas trips after all this.

I still find it amazing that Chibi thinks moving to japan will solve all his problems when he:
1. Can't afford to travel and rent a house.
2. Is not qualified nor skilled enough to get any jobs here.
3. Probably has no idea how to start this process (Getting a bank account requires a local number etc...)
4. He can't speak Japanese.

Most states has similar laws. It’s really deterministic to the employer. If he’s an hourly employee, which I think he might be, it might not be the big of an issue if his boss approved it.

Doesn’t seem like he did. Chibi is also the type of retard to disturb his boss about work when he’s on the other end of the planet, lol. Knowing this fat idiot, he’s going to claim to need a couple of days to recover from the plane trip/jet lag even though it didn’t ail him when he touched down upon his great homeland.

What the fuck did you expect? You're taking time off to not only go on vacation but to say you're applying for another job. And then you post this online where your boss can see it?!

This reminds me of a guy I worked with once. Not a good employee. But one day he calls up to say he's going to be out for a while because he fell and hit his head so he's going to be laid up for a week or so. boss said, "that's too bad. Rest up. We'll talk about this when you get back." then checked his Facebook and wouldn't you know it? He was in Malaysia with his wife on vacation. Let me add at this point that he had vacation days. That he could have requested this time off and it would have been given to him. But no he had to lie about it. So when he comes back boss bring up his vacation pictures and asks, "explain this".

As long as the time off has been okay'd by the employer, it's not job abandonment. Michigan is a bit strict about what is considered "Job Abandonment" but it has the caveat that three days or more is the starting point of it. So if Cheebs came home and decided to extend his time off by three days (or more), his employer would be legally able to fire Cheebs and he (Cheebs) couldn't collect unemployment because of it.

Sometimes I wonder if they think about simply firing him and taking the hit on paying his unemployment if only so that they never have to deal with him again.

NGL This would literally solve all my problems. Being a retard would be so much easier if I was debilitated in these ways and could blame them.
