I have a torrent that used to get shared around on 8chan and 4chan, big archive of historical photos. WW2, Korea (both Korean war and japanese occupation), Vietnam, 50s America and so on. Easily a few thousand pics. Only problem is I never fully downloaded it and I don't have the magnet anymore. I still have thousands of them, sorted into categories. Lots of random stuff taken by GIs with cameras. Ive thrown 4 in at random.

He was presumed dead when an explosive round hit him somewhere in the face and shattered his lower left jaw. He was placed on a pile of dead soldiers. Someone realized he was still alive and had him hospitalized.

He did put snow in his mouth (to hide the condensation of exhaling) but he used iron sights rather than scopes to have a lower profile.

Image tax: another picture of him smiling. This has to be one of the most cheerful guys of all time. He even smiled after he had half his head blown off, after having over 500 confirmed kills, and that's just confirmed, as in it's a proven fact he killed them. He probably had a lot more.

And after getting his head nearly blown off, he still lived to 96 years old. And taught sniping for much of that.
