How the hell do I shoot good(:_(
Take a class, get yelled at, become informed, feel good.
Otherwise, dryfire. Lots of dryfire. Cringy as it may sound, weapons familiarity without firing a shot is a great way to understand it when you finally do take it out. A good bar to set for yourself is placing a penny on your front sight and working your technique until you can dryfire without it falling off.

Along with what everyone else has suggested, printing some of these targets out helped me a lot:

It's mirrored for left-handed.

Speaking of dry fire since you have a Glock, do this:

Not having to rack the slide each time to manipulate the trigger is helpful to get reps faster. It’s not so much the weight of the trigger that causes people to move the gun off target when firing, it’s the movement. You want to be able to pull the trigger without disturbing the sight. Grip firmly with your firing hand but not so firm that pulling the trigger causes you to move the gun. With your support hand, grip really firmly, but not to the point of your hand shaking.

So the ideal travel setup for the Ruger 9mm PCC with Magpul takedown stock is... 12 round PMAG in the magwell, 21 round PMAG in the stock storage.
33 to hand in the rifle with no real stick-out. Sounds like a fine packin' configuration to me. Can always put more in your gear if you want.

I prefer to train on red dot first since it’s super imposing rather than running irons. I’m a blind astigmatic retard and even tritium night sights blur out if I don’t have contacts in. Red dot is meant to literally save my life, not be fancy. Regarding the rapid fire it’s hard to pace myself between excited and accurate. On a body silhouette in a rapid fire of 3 rounds I can get back on target and hit inside the 8 point ring at 15 yards, it’s when I move past that first three I get giddy and start seeing flingers down and left. It feels like a mix of both overcompensating/anticipating as well as me trying desperately to pull the dot back on target.

I’ll consider your proposal of taking the optic off and training form over function if I can’t move past the mental block of not chasing the laser.
I'm going to be real with you, I'm fucking blind without any form of vision correction, I'm not even going to be able to see my rear sight, let alone the front.

And with an astigmatism, this INCLUDES pretty much any form of red dot sight that isn't a holographic one, you're not going to be seeing a red dot so much as a giant red splotch that takes up 3/4's of the optics viewing window.

-5.0 on the left, -4.5 on the right. My clear vision without glasses ends about 6in from my face...

And then if I wear my glasses, they're really sensitive to parallax, too.

Don't be intimidated by irons, control your breathing, and develop a consistent trigger pull. Dry fire practice will help a bit with this, especially if you get one of those fancy dryfire systems that use a laser and a target to help you see how much your shot moves through a trigger pull. You want to focus on not moving the gun at all while pulling the trigger.

I went to the range again today and zeroed my red dot properly before putting another 150 rounds through the barrel. I’m up to 350 rounds shot with my gun and my form is doodoo dogshit.

My accuracy is alright when I go slow and work my way to the trigger wall; I overcompensate and dip down left if I’m rapid firing, that’s if I’m not trying to find my reticle. How the hell do I get gud?

I feel like I may be too rigid and not letting the gun recoil correctly back onto target. At least I feel like I’m making progress trying to learn holster draw and getting into low ready/compressed ready position. I finally stopped racking a new mag like a newbie and started letting the slide release chamber for me.
I got "good" at shooting by shooting at 4 inch targets. Started at 5-7 yards, slowly worked it up to 10-15.
the big reason is that I could put 4 onto a single piece of printer paper and that'd give me 4 targets to shoot at per piece of paper.
the other benefit to doing that is that it very quickly shows you what you are doing wrong & correct any mistakes.

Also, rapid firing is a mega meme perpetuated by Big Influencer, and you shouldn't do it until you can get good at precision shooting. Go slow until you can confidently hit your target. Only then should you go faster.
People will tell you to release the trigger right as the gun fires, but if you're new, I don't think you should. When the trigger breaks, hold it down until your sight picture returns, then slowly release the trigger until you feel the reset. Shooting like that forces you to go slow and pay more attention to each shot. As you shoot more and more, you should be able to do the procedure faster and eventually skip the reset altogether.
I assume you're familiar with dry firing, so I won't talk about that.

all of this takes time. you will not get good overnight, but it will come with time.

I have returned from hell packing a Ruger PCC in the Magpul takedown configuration. Haven't shot yet. Will soon.

Quick question. There's an included adapter that allows it to accept Glock© Brand™ Glock® magazines. I don't know much about Glonks and I don't know how literally to take this. At some point, someone mentioned there's an extra large mag that can fit in the storage of the stock. I'm also wondering if there's a shorter mag available that can be kept in the magwell without interfering with the takedown storage. This seems like information that should be easily available, but surprisingly I'm having some trouble finding it.
Not going to look if anyone else has addressed this further but I have the same PCC with the same (aftermarket) Magpul stock. I can fit a 15rd pro-mag or a 15rd magpul p-mag inside the riser compartment, no issue. Also the first thing I did when I took the thing home was swap out the Ruger magwell for the Glock magwell. I havent had any issues with failure to feed when using magpul p-mags or the retarded 25rd promag I bought when I bought the PCC. I occasionally had an issue at the range where the magazine would fall out without chambering a round when I'd release the charging handle, but I chalked that up to not slapping the base of the magazine when inserting it into the magwell.

tl;dr: like @MrShekelstein36 said just fuckin send it dude

Drone loads now?

As if there wasn't enough spergery about which shotgun loads are best...
:story:
It's probably just a printed hull & nothing special, but still I've long been wondering which shot #'s & chokes what would work best for different duties; vs. FPV, Mavic/bomber, etc. As things develop it'll be interesting to hear more from both sides about what they use for such purposes.

I guess you want as close to birdshot as you can get while still having enough power to cripple the drone. May honestly amount to ordinary birdshot or slightly hotter but same shot

i've heard from some people that they're adapted 2-1/4" and 3" steel shot, .177" or .20" size because it's widely available from multiple countries and cheap to make in quantity both on hand and on existing machinery. it's intended to break plastics and foul propellers, optics, and use mass to destabilize or destroy.
Weirdly enough, I am unironically surprised that this one got signed into law.

if you just walk around in your home or property strapped constantly and your other firearms are stored in an approved manner you're exempt. the silver lining is subtly encouraging you to not keep firearms around unlocked where unauthorized people could get ahold of them, and to keep your "nightstand gun" on your person in your home.

arguably the dumber laws were banning simulated blood/gunfire for school shooter drills, or the one that prohibits contractors from selling confiscated guns the police want disposed of, as well as removing the sunset provision for "red flag laws" of prior years. essentially making them infinitely renewable instead of requiring a hearing each time and and on-going cause after the 30 day impound.

Do a fuck ton of dry fire, every day, whenever you have 5 minutes to kill.
These videos are solid, and the main parts are slow way down and think about/inspect your shit. It's easy to blast 500 rounds in a trip, but the trick is to make the most out of that ammo.
For range use just use the cheapest stuff you can get. Ammoseek is the best, and be sure to calculate price AFTER SHIPPING+TAX. I generally only get free shipping stuff as I've never saved money if I'm the one paying the shipping. The tax free places may be a higher original price, but at checkout they may actually be cheaper.

Also, get yourself a speed loader. Having your fingers not be fucked up is pretty sweet

What’s a good preserving coat job I can do to my pistol? I hear people talk about cerakote and duracoat. I wouldn’t mind paying a few hundred for a snazzy paint job but my main goal is just to add a layered coat onto the Glock nPVD slide coating.
