That's BS since there are some that want to stop aid because we've sent enough already. I knew Johnson was in the tank for Ukraine but I'm shocked by how mad he is at Z.

I think he's fine with it. His parents switched parties back in the day (mine did too) so he's had the example that you won't die a horrible death if you become a conservative. DEI and liberalism has ruined movies and TV anyway, and if the Diddy stuff is revealed to the mainstream, what's left of the industry will be ashes.

I don't think this ruling is requiring electronic ballots for everyone.

If I'm reading this correctly, it calls for having a machine that is to be used by voters with low or no vision. My voting precinct has one such machine kept separate form from the other voting stations. It has options to either magnify the screen or read the ballot sections to the voter through a headset for privacy. I don't use or need this myself, so I'm not sure what interface is used to select candidates or yes/no items. When voting is complete, it prints off a ballot that can be fed into an optical reader just like a regular paper ballot.

If this is what is being required, it makes sense when looking at the situation in terms of accommodating disabled voters through the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

That's how I read it too, but the ADA requirements can and have been filled in the past with the machine you mentioned, and before that with another person reading and scribing the ballot. I think it's just another way to get the electronic voting they want so they can manipulate the results.

I think he's aware of the consequences of this endorsement.

He was very, very headstrong about his stances about covid and the covid vaccines as far back as 2021 (when you were ostracized like crazy for daring to ask any questions). He saw a lot of criticism for it and he remained unapologetic about it and quadruple downed on it.

I don't think he gives a fuck about being blacklisted at this point, which is admirable.

He's 100% aware that his career is essentially over, and really seems to be at peace with it, because this is bigger than him.

Primanti Brothers, the PA restaurant chain where they let Kamabla visit by kicking all the customers out weeks ago, denied entry to JD Vance, apparently after originally being told it was ok to go there. Many customers cancelled their orders and were then being told to pay the tab. Vance picked up the tab.

Maybe it's rhetorical but why would they kick customers out? Was it a safety issue or were they that afraid of people voicing criticism? If I was the business owner I think I would've just asked the customers to be polite/respectful to both candidates, I really can't comprehend acting as if Kamala is some kind of little god that never wears the same piece of clothing more than once

The whispers about Biden’s cognitive decline, which began during his bizarre COVID-sheltered basement campaign, were mostly dismissed as partisan attacks on a politician who had always been gaffe-ridden. Yet as President Biden continued to fall off bicycles, misremember basic names and facts, and mix long and increasingly weird passages of Dada-esque nonsense with autobiographical whoppers during his public appearances, it became hard not to wonder how poor the president’s capacities really were and who was actually making decisions in a White House staffed top to bottom with core Obama loyalists. When Obama turned up at the White House, staffers and the press crowded around him, leaving President Biden talking to the drapes—which is not a metaphor but a real thing that happened.

Indeed, in previous weeks Obama had continued his role as central advocate for government censorship of the internet while launching a new campaign against gun ownership, claiming it is historically linked to racism. Surely, the spectacle of an ex-president simultaneously leading campaigns against both the First and Second Amendments might have led even a spectacularly incurious old-school D.C. reporter to file a story on the nuts and bolts of Obama’s political operation and on who was going in and out of his mansion. But the D.C. press was no longer in the business of maintaining transparency. Instead, they had become servants of power, whose job was to broadcast whatever myths helped advance the interests of the powerful.

Most late night TV shows are like that: Deliver the instruction, seal clap of approval and, before the viewer has a chance to process what they just heard, the next line of the programming is given.

I do hold that it doesn't work with Kamala because she is essentially an antenna that just repeats whatever the broadcast is saying but that's essentially what they are trying to do. Plus, it gives me a chance to share my favorite posts.

Kamala is an extension of the government-controlled media. The only times when she feels like an actual human is when she screws up and says or does something that she is not supposed to. Anyone could "be" Kamala but nobody can screw up like she does. It's really interesting to me.
