I clicked it. But I didn't read any. It's new and pretty bare.I realized I've scrolled past this link multiple times, without even registering it (much less feeling the least bit of temptation to click it). Is anyone else afflicted with an active disinterest in anything Liam might have to say? In my case, I think the conditioning probably set in within the first year of the Friendcast; and I'm amused to notice that I'm still just automatically filtering him out a decade afterward. For anyone who doesn't: Could you summarize the blog beyond "coasting on his wife"? Of course, if no one can be bothered to, that's perfectly fitting.

edit: lol MUH ANXIETIES
I'll post it.
Foreword – A Remedy for my Everyday Anxieties
I’ve been thinking about what I actually do a lot lately. Not always good thoughts, either. I’m retired from making videos and streaming as far as I’m concerned, I edit some stuff for friends, and I work on my indie games. That sounds like a lot, but in practice, I don’t do tons of any of it (ADHD-haver, here) and I’m frankly pretty slow at it all as well. My wife has an awesome job that she loves, and I’m not shy to say that support lets me live an amazing life with her without having to fret too much about money right now.
That said, the call to post things for you all to see still lives strong within me, but games are fucking hard to make and they take a long time as well, so a part of me feels… stagnant. Garden Guardian’s updates finished about a year ago… am I even moving forward in life? The answer is of course that I am, but you know how brainworms are, right? Doesn’t feel that way every day. I hope I can get better and faster at making games, but for the time being I want some sort of outlet where I can post more long-form stuff and share my thoughts on stuff with anyone who’s interested.
Well, here we are. I’m hoping to update the site a few times per month basis with writeups on games (bordering on reviews), some tiny development updates for my own projects (past and current) and as a spot to dump some screenshots from time to time (I wish consoles had screenshot buttons generations earlier).
There are things I’d like to add to the website like a mailing list, and maybe a more direct way to support me/it financially. This site will be by design low cost and hopefully not take too much of my time to manage (aside from writing the articles, of course). Eagle eyed web designers may notice I’m rocking the most default-ass WordPress layout, and you’d be right! Since I don’t plan for it to be a huge project it’ll be simple all the way down. Maybe I’ll jazz it up eventually, but the age-old mantra of “promise nothing and deliver less” is still something I’ll hold to. I may eventually put an unintrusive ad per page or integrate a more direct support method to help cover the minimal costs associated with hosting a site, but for now if you want to support me I’d be absolutely jazzed if you bought a copy or Garden Guardian for you and your buds! No plans for a Patreon or anything high-maintenance like that, though. Low-key only!
Anyways, thank you for taking the time to come check the site out. I hope you’ll enjoy something you read on here, or find it useful or whatever. Feel free to Tweet at me if you ever need to get in touch or let me know how I’m doing, or what you’d like to see! Enjoy!
