Israel is going to attack Iranian nuclear sites soon and attempt to topple the Iranian regime.
My reasoning behind this:
Israel has always been deterred from striking Iran due to the threat of Hezbollah. Hezbollah is no longer a threat in the short term. Meanwhile the US Navy has about 1/3rd of their assets in the region and able to assist Israel in any defense needed after attacking iran. Additionally, the US has weak leadership right now with the president being completely out of it and the vice president out campaigning. They can't do much to deter Israel. Taking out Iran is of benefit to the US as it deprives Russia and China of a major ally.
Add the Israeli infiltration of Iran to the mix and I feel Israel is waiting for the right time for their agents in Iran to push. A nuclear site bombing is the perfect time.

tl;dr even with Obongo and Joepedo funding them billions and letting them work on their nuke program unmolested like two fucking retards, Iran is pretty well fucked due to cumulative effect of sanctions, even with that small period where they were relaxed and the frogs were selling them everything and anything they could sneak past the UN. This is not made any better by the government having to deal with a lot of internal proxy wars, protests, and other internal strife. They are stretched thin.
Iran has exhausted what they did have in a proxy war with the Saudis in Yemen, they sold off a big chunk of their military inventory at a huge premium to Russia, but they are not in good shape which is why they are being completely cucked publicly as their puppet is curbed for an international audience and they can do nothing.
Basically Iran is completely buckbroken and castrated. Israel would have no advantage kicking the hornets nest at this particular time, since upsetting the apple cart might result in someone rising to the top who might do more than flounder and make bold statements with no ability to back them up.
Regarding the nuke facilities They would rather let Iran sink another couple years and few billion dollars they can scarcely afford before they blow up Iran's nuke facilities.
Meanwhile, on a Lebanese talk show, a Mullah gives an explanation for how the Israelis were able to so thoroughly fuck up Hezbollah -
