Man, and to think showing up for a morning shift after some dumb niggers broke in and tried to steal the coin game full of water from the counter, only to drop it on the way to the parking lot, making a huge mess of change and getting nothing was one of my more memorable moments.
One night during a closing shift I saw a cop attempt to chase after someone on foot just absolutely eat shit in the process, leading to the suspect getting away.

Reminds me of the canadian rail strike, which ended up not happening (yet) because they used a obscure rule to give them to binding arbitration. Passing an actual law would have sunk utterly sunk the few remaining liberals ( ie, mentally defective far leftist trash). 5 billions a day is massive ( obviously) and should be a red alert tier crisis. Seeing them so petulant about it really shows how leaderless the current admin is,

LOL. That’s Southwest. They are a low-cost carrier (LCC). All the legacy carriers offer IFE unless they’re using legacy equipment or it’s a very short flight. They tried to do the no IFE thing for a short time years ago and it was a disaster. Any international flight will have IFE as well. Airlines are getting brand new planes equipped with IFE every year. It’s not going away.
All the LCCs cheap out in certain ways to compete with the legacy carriers. The whole idea is that you sacrifice these things for a lower price. But this stuff seldom bubbles up to the legacy carriers. The only one that really stuck was eliminating meals.

Nothing here surprises me. The eagles came back to roost on the island this summer. Swallows left right on schedule. Two hawks flew low in front of me- twice, right before the assassination attempts. They're back where they belong now.

The DNC is certain that they're going to lose this year, but they still have to campaign and appear strong.
Let me explain. Around the world, political parties can fall apart quickly if there's no support behind a major candidate, there are groups willing to splinter, or if their party loses by a landslide. All of this demoralizes the voters, who decide to seek alternatives instead.
I don't think the DNC is going anywhere, but it's true that, right now, it's being held with glue. There's no unity whatsoever, and although the radicals are willing to bend the knee publicly in favor of the neoliberals and the neocons, they don't really owe them loyalty. The higher-up radicals like Bernie Sanders and AOC probably do, but I'm talking about the common people, especially the younger radicals who may be considering running on a Democratic platform.
All of this, and more, would become more evident if they just gave up and lost by a landslide. That could very well threaten the coalition of radicals who hate each other's guts. And remember, nobody hates a communist more than another communist. So what are they doing? They have the only safe candidate to run this year because they wanted to keep the Biden money (Kamala) even though nobody is truly enthusiastic about her and doesn't really want her to win. They'll have the celebrities come and talk about how great Kamala is, Obama and Hillary will give half-assed speeches, but they don't truly believe this. It's also pretty obvious that President Jill Biden is seething because the mulatto pajeet is threatening her husband's legacy, whatever that is.
So they need to keep their hopes high. The "Joy" campaign is not only because Kamala has no ideas of her own (though that's a large part), but because they need the JOY to say they went down with a fight and prevent the DNC from splintering afterward. Kamala can go and give the same speech about how she's the underdog and they need to form a coalition so that it looks like they really tried, and they gave their best.
After this, the DNC can prep a better candidate, riding the wave of joy (or whatever is left of it) to win back the White House in 2028. There's a lot of young blood that can be real contenders to Vance or whoever the MAGA heir is.
They'll continue to inflate the numbers and astroturf her campaign so it looks like support is high, then they'll blame it on not enough people going out to vote (or will dump a million votes on California and say that Kamala won the popular vote, just like it happened with Hillary). I truly don't see them pushing for a steal with Kamala as they did with Biden. I've said it before, but Biden was one of their guys and he actually seemed a lot more likely to win. Despite his incompetence, he was Obama's VP, which gave him a huge boost. I just can't see it with Kamala, especially because Kamala is so despised by TPTB.
Trump is, too, and that's why they're trying to kill him. But they're not stupid and they know that MAGA won't go away if Trump dies—they're threatened by Trump winning again and would rather have a RINO puppet placed by the RNC if he dies. They're SO certain that Kamala is losing, and they know it's best to deal with whatever remains of Trump rather than her.
Of course, I might be entirely wrong but just look at all the signs. It does point to something like what I'm suspecting.
