I said the same thing about Biden and was technically wrong. Then again, the Russo-Ukraine war happened, so I got the country wrong, not the underlying premise itself.
Trump, honestly has a lot of work ahead of him in order to pursue a protectionist policy. He has to thoroughly clean out the Department of Education and clearing out the Critical Race Theorists out of Academia entirely. He can't just defend STEM curricula for expansions of CHIPS act-esque legislation, but clean out the Social Sciences and even the Humanities. It's also important to note that the CHIPS act itself is insufficient for job growth overall. BAs need jobs too or they become commie-sympathetic, meaning hiring practices also have to change significantly. He might have to go against Blackrock and Vanguard directly too to save American cultural institutions.

I struggle to think of anybody with more baggage and less redeeming qualities. This wouldn't nearly be a problem if Harris was strong but she's so weak that her only hope was to pick a strong backup or someone who could be considered the "real president" she picked the worst possible person based on her gut feeling.

@Rimanah I will get to responding to you albeit you kind of are on the waitlist behind some others I haven’t even gotten to yet and my fledgling second part to my previous post about my opposition to defunding federal agencies protecting worker and public safety and benefits. Also I propose that tasking me with defining what rape stalking and domestic violence are let alone what inadequate women’s healthcare looks like is preposterous considering we are all adults and should know what those terms are and what women’s healthcare is. Furthermore while I concede as a lawyer you probably have a absolutely superior knowledge of the law to me this isn’t a legal setting; ultimately I’m just spewing my asshole opinions on a New Zealand agricultural forum. I am too invested in binging on Nick Bate cringe right now to passionately defend why society historically has been shitty to women. I’m not here to change minds at most it’s just funny to see any kind of counter to the idea that Trump is the omega daddy all star and have some blowback to ideas I hold. I know you're retarded, but holy shit. First off, Puerto Rico was hit back to back by Irma and Maria within 2 weeks. The only FEMA stockpile in the Carribean is ON Puerto Rico and it was wiped out from Irma. It is not possible to replenish those supplies in two weeks while you're still doling them out to the surrounding islands.
Second, Puerto Rico has been horribly mismanaged by the local government that is rife with corruption for decades. The power grid on the island has been shit since the 80s. Three years after Irma and Maria, locals found a warehouse filled with relief supplies that weren't touched because the people in charge on the island couldn't be fucked to do their jobs. But that's okay, because the Governor fired the officials in question, right? Oh wait, She was charged in a bribery scheme.

This is all just increasing my concern that they're not even seriously planning for their to be an election and are going to go full tilt into clown world, or are planning to light everything on fire on their way out.
