BLM land generally is worthless but nobody really wants to live there anyway. Kamala’s idea for BLM land is to use it for giant solar farms.

This is fucking stupid because while it's great for farming solar, getting the solar into batteries is a big problem. The batteries are ALWAYS the problem; they always have been. It's a storage issue, the power generation is possible but moving it to where it needs to be and utilizing it isn't easy. No one is living out in the middle of nowhere and that will also fuck up the environment (i.e. migration patterns of animals.) and are vulnerable to flash flooding. They act like it's just BIG OIL preventing it, but practical considerations are at play.
