It worked in making DeSantis believe their lies, as he was obviously setting up a run and Trump called him out on it.

Vance is smart enough to know let the man get his deserved redemption, and carry the torch.

Supposedly Vance practiced for this debate with Tom Emmer imitating Walz, and Vance's wife was also helping Emmer know which buttons to press, which is probably where that Jim Halpert 4th wall eye shuffle came from, like he was going "holy shit Tom, he did the thing you did in practice"

I don't think they feel the "need" to dump Walz ... Simply because that would be the final nail in the coffin for the Democrats this election cycle. Might as well wave a white flag at that point.

They literally can't dump Walz with the election just a month away. And I agree that Kamala is spending her time right now frantically asking if there's a way she can replace him without it affecting the election.

What's the harm in dreaming of the truck load of shit Kamala would find herself in if she dumped that dweeb Walz? Don't deny it would be funny as hell if it actually happened.

It won't work simply because Vance is already Trump's VP, not someone trying to replace him outright like DeSantis hoped to accomplish.

I was really expecting him to go hard. I'm not astute enough to say which is better, the rabid attack dog, or the calm level headed yang to trump's yin.

It would be glorious if it happened.

It just won't, unfortunately. Switching running mates in the final stretch of the campaign is them basically handing over the Presidency to Trump and also possibly the down ballot. It would absolutely depress and deflate the Dem voters from voting at all, one would think.
