I really liked how both Vance and Walz were cordial to each other. American politics is to toxic, and this was a low-tempo exchange.

The case itself basically argued that you cannot dissent against the government (or if you do, you can't do it too hard).

This is why people chanting "you can't shout fire in a crowded theater" drive me crazy. It has literally always from its very beginning been used to suppress important speech that should be protected. It is the absolute poster child for why banning political speech for supposedly being dangerous is a horrible idea.
