Another thing i've notice on yt, anyone else ALWAYS get a low view under 1k video, uploaded 3 hours to 3 days ago-ish, as their third recommendation, on EVERY video? It's utterly bizarre and too consistent, is it YT forcing the lowest view videos around for algorithm points?

I've been noticing that I've been getting really low view count videos and streams in my recommended and even my main page, sometimes you can find some funny or interesting stuff like people doing stupid shit while playing videogames, but usually for streams I get are z-tier shitty vtubers. I've never noticed the pattern that you pointed out so I checked it and it is really consistent for some reason, ever now and then it gets pushed down by a video I recently watched though.

I notice I get a weird amount of let's plays recommended to me from nobody channels that have less than ten views on the video. I don't even watch that kind of content very often, so it's weird how specific it is.

Same. I used to get strange videos and still sometimes do, but a lot of times its really low view lets play channels or, far worse, Vtuber shit. It might be because there's such a high volume of that material online.

Still, the other option is YT never recommending anything that isn't popular, and I appreciate the fact they're at least giving lesser watched material an opportunity in the algorithm even if they're duds most of the time. I've found some really odd stuff, sometimes I deliberately click on whatever they dredge up purely to contribute to recommended + metrics.

Hi, first post on here but I'd like to add something to this since I, and mutuals of mine, I have an extended history with this individual but i wont bore you with every small detail
First, Ikran is female, not a male
second, they have done this with a lot of creators she doesn't agree with but usually doesn't make youtube videos about it, mostly twitter posts and deviantart journals. Her worst was with an old fanficition write friend of hers named FFD who she has since doxxed multiple times on twitter and other socials (which she almost immediately deleted due to backlash) due to not writing the fanfics she wants even after a huge death in the family. She'll deny it all she wants but ive seen these posts and tried to screen cap them but to no avail. She does this because she feels "betrayed" by people she looked up to and takes it out on them relentlessly till the backlash gets too much and even still there are random times she will attack them for no reason.
Finally, when it comes to grabbing her posts before she deletes them, she does her best to make sure said posts can't be used against her. There was a post she made about getting kicked out of a discord server because they were being mean to her but almost immediately the owner of said server came to said post and posted screenshots of her awful behavior towards other people in said server because they wouldn't help her when she wanted it at that moment. It was only up for less than 5 minutes and she deleted it. She does this alot with negative post that give her alot of backlash

The first time I found out about her was due to FFD leaving a server i was in after making some NSFW comments about my friend's pet lizard. we went into their DA (Deviantart) account and found out that they had stalker which we now know as Ikran. When I asked them about her, they mentioned that they were good friends at one point until FFD lost someone close to them and stopped writing fanfics and used video games to help deal with the loss. They loved these games so much they started writing fanfics about them which Ikran didnt like because it wasnt the fanfics SHE wanted FFD to write, which led to a falling out between the two and Ikran stalking, harassing and even doxxing their address multiple times, once to a psych doctor on twitter before removing it. Ive tried using the way back machine to find these old posts but to no avail. She also has history with the video game countdown community that she is apart of but despises an old group called thechaostheathre and anyone who was ever involved because they removed her from the site because of her negative behavior. She hates anyone who doesnt share her same opinions and will even call them snobs for agreeing with majority opinions on video games. If you have a patreon she also hates you as well because she thinks you're ripping people off when you dont make a video every month while having a 9-5 or whatever work schedule you have while making videos at the same time. If you like the newer Mortal Kombat games, she calls you a shiller because "woker brothers" paid you to like it and not actually enjoying it. She thinks this about anyone in the Fighting game community when it comes to Mortal Kombat, especially MaximillinDood, a popular fighting game youtuber, who even though he says he likes the games there are some issues. She puts out video game countdowns every month that range from uninformative to cringe. You can clearly tell she really doesnt do research and just reads off wikis. She also gives off too much information about herself (Ex. She gets off to the sound of drums which she did in a list about Native Americans in video games Top ten Tribal characters) and is super racist as well in both her posts and videos (ex. in a video about top ten black characters in video games, she originally had a monkey as a transition slide but was called out but people in which she made a video complaining about it Response)

There's more but that would go into some private info that I don't want to give out. All I can tell you is to stay away from her or let people she tries to get on her side that she is an awful human being that is vengeful beyond belief
 
didnt know this game had nearly 40 minutes worth of playtime holy shit
