StyxHexenhammer666 / Tarl Warwick - Oddball Occultist Neckbeard (who can make some interesting content)

Bro, his books are like 5-10 bux paperback and 20 bux hardcover. There's not much profit margin there I imagine you can barely pay the bills with that.

I'm pretty sure they were crowdfunded when he started, this was before he made any YT money, and I'm pretty sure I remember they were upwards of $100 when he announced the first "premium" one. I was going to buy one to throw some bucks his way until I saw the price.

EDIT: I just tried to find one and came across his Kickstarter for a broken laptop LOL: https://www.gofundme.com/f/styxhexenhammer-laptop-fund-20

Was this Fruits of Eden? Because he wrote that one and I don't know of any accusations it was plagiarized.

Or was this a nice hardcover anthology? Because I can see someone coming along and making a pretty book with a bunch of old public domain manuscripts and selling it for something like that. Either way, not really a scam.

The only scam Tarl takes part in is repeatedly insisting he's right about the political story of the day. Edit: Or his personal relationships.

I'm not talking past you. I said you can take people at their word. Lies are common, but the consistent lie is rare.

Tarl has repeatedly held out that he's not an atheist even when off handedly responding to a chat.
People do like to make-believe tho. You can lie to yourself as well.

Jordan Peterson and Neil Degrasse Tyson also passionately reject the atheist label, but that's cope.

Don't buy the "premium" one, then?

Paper books cost less than a buck to print.Printing paper books, even fancy hardcover editions,is really cheap.
I need a source on that. The toner/ink for an entire book alone (assuming at least 200 pages) is probably *shitty napkin math* 2-4x that if you buy in bulk.

I'm saying that's all he produced for sale at the time. I can't find any trace on IGG or Kickstarter but I'm pretty sure I didn't dream it.

EDIT: It might've even been sold on his personal web site. Does he still have that site?

Fair point.

I forgot how fucking AWFUL Tarl's original website looked. Hard to read and the books literally blend in with the background.

His crystal ball is a bit dimmer than Veemonro's. But I can't watch Veeh cause he's repetitive and has too many typos in his titles.

His worst book is a blank book. All the Reasons We Need Gun Control In the United States. $18.01
The same joke that Michael Knowles did a year earlier. Reasons to Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide. $16.99

I do like the idea of his editing niche. He kept the prices low and did make obscure texts available in a convenient format.

He was finding out-of-print books that were in the public domain and "editing" them for re-sale so he could keep all the money. He was very up-front about this scam in a video I saw around 2017-2018 or so.
I didn't know they were public domain - that makes it different. Damn, I must have missed it.

Books in volume are incredibly cheap. I am not talking about the "print on demand" books. Yes, there you are talking about regular paper and toner.

But if you are looking at mass printing pulp fiction books, the greatest expense is the first book that your print and the expense of dealing with you. There after it is nickels and dimes for each additional book.

This is why you have minimum orders of 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 books. The cost of setting up and getting that first book correct is spread across the volume of books. The larger your volume of books the less each additional book costs.

Tarl has a basic clown/prankster personality. To him, the world exists for his own personal amusement and bemusement. He loves to organize people to go carry out pranks in his name, so he can then sit back and laugh at the hornets nest he created.

Lately, he has been "suffering" from a vast overload of hubris.

Hubris is vast, yes. Prankster, yes. The Pixelplanet bullshit alone is illustrative. Briefly, he became Alexander the Great in the Mediterranean battle against Turks, pissed off his audience, and defaced half the globe with his prescribed and ghastly yellow and red checkerboard pattern. Is pixelplanet even there anymore? It's probably gone, thanks to Tardle.

Website is still there. Complete with Swastika spam, pro-Trump graffiti, Tarl's awful, awful territory color choice, and lots and lots of anime porn which is thankfully not visible zoomed out.

700 people supposedly online, it showed 0 on TOR for some reason.

Also nearly all seem to be occult books, so he's probably the right person to be transcribing them.
"transcribing"
As far as I can tell he just copy/pastes material that is already readily available on the Internet.

The only editing seems to be removing notes and additional material from the original.
I don't mind him selling cheap paper copies but printing "Edited by Tarl Warwick" on the cover while omitting the translator of the work, G. R. S. Mead, and any actual editors of the material is at least in poor taste.

Somebody also needs to tell him about the em dash. Probably the en dash, as well. He replaced the original em dash with a hyphen, which makes real typesetters sad.

Styx's week+ visit to Samantha's old stomping grounds is probably the opportunity to "meet the parents."

Both Styx & Samantha have torched their marriages to the ground. And are probably seeking to find internal justifications that will make fuck ups they have engaged in, all right.

I wouldn't be shocked if they got married in the next 1-3 years. They may opt to wait until all of Samantha's legal battles come to a close. Styx might be initially resistant to making colossal screw up #3. But if Samantha pumps enough drugs & booze into Styx's system she can get him to agree in a fog of incoherence.

It didn't work out well when Styx opted to marry Elisabeth who was jumping ship from her marriage.

This won't end well. Do it. KEK demands it.
