I've noticed a heavy drop in Styx's content quality over the last few months.

I have liked to listen to him sperg for years and sometimes he talks about interesting things.

However, he'll now frequently not gather up enough information to go in greater depth or he'll give a bad take more often.

Not exactly sure how he intends to explain getting arrested for beating on a woman. Not thrilled to see Tarl on the journey to full blown lolcow status.

Unlike a lot of public figures online, Pewdiepie actually grew up.

Pewdiepie has also always been able to laugh at himself and not take himself too seriously.

Seems like styx ended up replacing his drug addiction with alcohol and it has led him to this. He could have stayed comfy in Netherlands with his autistic cute Dutch wife and baby but he had to keep doing black magic. Stolas and magi Chan are just Slaanesh in disguise. I used to watch his videos. He got my attention during that infamous livestream with Richard Spencer in 2017, and I was impressed with how he debated Spencer. Before the 2020 election, I'd say that he gave some pretty solid commentary for the most part.

I admittedly have not paid any attention to his personal life until recently.

They aren't necessarily horrible, they're eccentric and off from the start. They jump on the YouTube bandwagon because it's easy money with low effort and it's a place where people will give you attention and clap at your semi coherent rants. If it was just for the money, they'd be fine, but what they want it's the power and adoration. When the money comes in big amounts, they go unhinged.

Felix was ok grounded from the start. His family were normal and always kept him sane.
He also was born with natural charisma, you can't fake that. Many youtubers need to fake it to make it and they can handle it.

I remember the exact moment I was completely convinced that Styx was not someone to take seriously on any issues ever. Back during the 2016 election some guy lost his bid for governor or some shit and Styx's political analysis was to point out that in the background of his house somewhere that politician had an owl statue or some shit, used that to assume he worshipped a particular occult god and then accredited the guy's loss to that god being fickle. You cannot make this shit up.
