He probably finds us talking about him as amusing as we find him being in jail. You know, all the world's a stage and all that. I suppose that's why he's a little harder to milk than others like Rackets.

Point being: YouTubers might be low-rent celebrities at best, but to the average person, the parasocial feelings are much stronger because YTers are more accessible, and the YTers feed off of that.

he really has a thing for that pete buttfelch. he constantly mentions pete buttfelch every chance he gets as a better option for the democrats. its insane. buttfelch is a failed mayor from a tiny town who screwed up every transportation issue pete buttfelch has had to handle and even said train stations locations and highways are racist because racists placed them to hurt people of a certain race and garbage like this. but every chance tarl gets on a discussion of who else on the democrat bench could step in he is at every chance lapping up the pete buttfelch fumes and sweat. i think styx has msm fantasies or something going on with being a queer.

Don't they have a brand new prison? It was pretty gross back when they'd hold people in the House of D, and I'm sure its still pretty gross in there even if it is new, but it's not all that scarring. Just need a nice shower after leaving that cradle of filth.

That's true, but see, you're using logic.

Most people just want someone to yap at them for 30 min about [current issue] while they do the dishes or paint the fence or something. Plus all things considered, you could do a lot worse than watching Styx, his takes are usually ok (I almost sent him a furious e-mail last week after I got annoyed with something he said and YT wouldn't let me post, so eh, he's def not perfect)

Plus the NAP flies out the window once you have half a bottle of rum in you. Or whatever he drinks. We're animals, not gods or robots. People just chimp out once in a while and no intellectualizing or ideology will fix that.

He said he was staying in for the night and door dash some food in. It is New Orleans. I would expect that odds are good you could Door Dash in some booze.

I wonder exactly how long Styx's jail enforced Tea Totaler ways will last when there is a minibar in his room and he is in the middle of New Orleans with nothing better to do.

1. He won't last the night.
2. He won't make it to his next court date in a few days.
3. Once he makes it home he will be cracking open the bottle of wine. Old habits die hard.
4. 1 month or longer?

Does it matter?

Maybe he wouldn't have landed his ass in jail if he hadn't hit the bottle so hard lately, but it's never the alcohol, it's always other unresolved personal issues.

Unless it was a bar brawl and he started tossing chairs and bottles at random people.

Styx really needs to stop slipping. Hope jail was a wakeup call to not get in these situations. I want to know what actually happened before I make a personal judgement, but it isn't looking good when you get charged with battery.


People have been telling him that he needs to go to the damn gym for years. He'd look better and feel better if he put some good weight on. Tarl always says he doesn't have the time or can't be bothered.
