Containment Random Thoughts & Questions

Do you think Chris is responsible for Barb being sued by Capital One and Discover bank? He used to steal his parents cards when his own were maxed out. I bet he took barbs credit cards and bought $20,000 worth of toys and vidya and this whole Financhu crisis is actually Chris's fault.
Nah, that's Barb's debt. He didn't regularly steal his parents cards. He's done it before, but not as a consistent thing.
Why doesn't barb kick Chris out? She doesn't need him for anything, and all he does it create debt for her and blow money on toys.
Nah, Barb's got retarded debt, and she needs Chris around to mooch off of.

Alec Benson Leary was not the magic potion man.

Does anyone knows who's this guy?

Just curious, I always thought the magical man should have done an AMA

The magic potion man's identity is really not important. He was a field agent, but you wouldn't know who the hell he is anyway. He wasn't featured in anything else. He had a PVCC account but got out of the Chris game a long time ago

Good for him I suppose.

Why doesn't Chris have a garage sale so he can sell off all the plastic crap he has? He'd probably make several hundred bucks off all of the plastic crap he's collected over the years.

People don't buy that shit for more than a buck or something at a garage sale. The only way he'd make any decent money is selling it places like ebay, and there, they want stuff still in the original packaging in near perfect condition if they're going to pay anything decent for it.

Chris almost immediately ruins the value of anything he gets by opening it up and fucking with it then just getting grease all over it and turning it into part of a disgusting hoard.

Wouldn't all that shit add up since he'd be selling hundreds if not thousands of plastic crap toys?

Even if that's true, it's very unlikely that chris would get rid of any of his junk - he is a hoarder after all.
Look at this chat where Vivian Gee tries to get chris to sell some stuff but he outright refuses without even considering it first.
Selling those pokemon cards earlier this year was really unlikely for Chris, see he only tried to sell 2 and he likely only did that because he probably thought they were extremely valuable and would solve all his money problems quickly.

Who buys thousands of things at a garage sale?

The vast majority of his stuff is hoard-tier. Hoarders don't make thousands selling off their trash. In fact, they have to pay thousands to have it hauled off.

He'd have thousands, maybe tens of thousands of dollars worth of shit if he'd kept the original packaging and stored the stuff in it and gone out of his way not to damage it. But he more or less did the opposite. The Legos are the perfect example, where he would often buy expensive sets just to take one part out of them for some autistic project, completely ruining the value of them as a set.

Now there are sites that sell individual Legos at a markup, but they can only operate because they have enormous selection, like in the millions.

He could still do it tbh. He could take apart everything, clean the pieces, sort them, open an online store and slowly sell it off. The minifigs themselves would go for a lot of money if sold separately.

But that requires work and a small degree of intelligence, so it's not happening ever.

BrickLink exists but that's not the kind of site Chris would know about unless he was explicitly told about it by someone he trusts. While he'd get much more for his value there he would cause so much grief to people both buying and selling because it has much higher standards in those regards than eBay (they constantly take down seedy Asian stores that unsuccessfully try to fool clients).
There are over 4000 US-based stores there but most of the old and specialized parts are in Europe, so he'd cause even more grief attempting to order from there because from my experience alone European vendors are much less willing to take crap from customers (they want business straight-up done or fuck off).

Who would go there? The only reason the big sites that do this get business is because you know if you go there, you'll probably find exactly what you're looking for. People who buy individual pieces are usually looking for something exact from a professional operation that will send it quickly.

Why would anyone go to a fat moron who wouldn't even have a catalog, would be selling filthy, smoke damaged crap, doesn't even know what he has, and would ship it months late, if ever?

Should someone start an emergency fund for Chris that kiwis could donate to so they know it's not going tword toys and vidya? Like when the house fire happened, everyone pitched in and sent him $500 to give to Barb and nessesities such as tooth paste and food. Would it be a good idea to start a fund in case something else happens like another fire or if his power gets cut off because they missed a bill? Or if they go homeless? What do you think?

Jokes aside, what do you think would REALLY happen once Barb dies? Surely he would call 911 and probably bury her in the cheapest coffin possible with no funeral, but then what? Here is why I think Chris could not manage without Barb.
1. He would not be able to afford all the bills with his tugboat. Chris gets around $1300/ month, and Barb gets a little less, but combined they get a total of around $2,500. This is enough to pay the homes bills. But with Barb gone, her SSI goes away unless Chris cuts her up and stuffs her in the freezer to keep collecting her checks.
2. Chris would probably not know how to fix things such as leaky pipes if they break. 14 blc would be infested with mold of a pipe leaked.
3. With Barb gone, anyone could walk into 14 BLC as they please. Chris hates jerkops, and probably would not call them if someone broke in. He would cry and yell and curse Ye ha me ha, but that is pretty much it. He could get raped, kidnapped, or even worse.
4. If Barb dies before she pays all of her debts ( very likely ), the debts could be passed on to Chris should he choose to stay in 14 blc after her passing. On top of bills and nessesities, he would not be able to afford it.
5. If Chris went back to jail, Barb would not be there to bail him out.
