The thing that keeps me skeptical is this; If David has vitiligo (not confirmed as far as I'm aware?), we haven't seen him without make-up on. Obviously it affects him, substantially.
It looks to be work clothing or some kind of formal affair and it was 2011 and he was an older man. He simply may have not been able to get away with it.

Two pages late but I was scrolling back through the pages and this immediately reminded me of the video of Sycho Sid breaking his leg in WCW, and how his leg bent in the boots he was wearing. Maybe a possible cause? Could just be autistic neurons firing but that got me thinking.

I have a friend who wears heavy makeup to hide their severe skin condition. And yet, she doesn't have time to apply makeup every time she goes out; nobody does. If these photos are of David, he could have been running late for an event or work, too exhausted to bother with his makeup, or maybe his give-a-fucks had just run out that day.

That's a bullshit grift. If anything, he ran some drive recovery software. There are very little hard drive problems that can be fixed in the gukf between "running free/cheap software" and tens, hundreds if thousands, millions in recovery. Its tough, precise work if you have to open the case and any small bits of dust will just make it worse.
The cost isn't coming from repairing the drive itself, it's mostly coming from data recovery. He's being very vague with the wording of 'hard drive fixed' so I can't tell you specifics, but generally, they only let you take a drive in to get repaired if there is important data stored on it that you don't have elsewhere (and which you can't access) and only if you can reliably prove it. Data recovery is expensive because it's a fairly laborous thing to do. Disassembling the magnetic disk portion of the drive takes special tools which the majority of people can't afford, and then they have to remount the disk onto another device so it can be read, then if there is damage to some of the files on the disk, special proprietary software has to be used to attempt to recover them, etc etc etc.
I'd wager anywhere from £350 - £700 but if its fucked data recovery could cost £1k maybe.
I believe that's him, look at the rest of the pictures, the two posted here don't really help see it. It would also coincide with David Firth's account who mentioned that he used to dress like a business man. Maybe he only goes out on the street in his kiddie outfit occasionally.
I believe people have said that, before he wore the schoolboy outfit from the instagram posts, he wore formal attire like in these new photos and then a burgundy school jacket at some other point
