I know this thread is Trump country and all, but since he's going all in bombing Iran's nuclear sites that should probably give you some pause. Even if it's not outright nuclear war, the fallout would directly affect Europe and...well everywhere else. Real shame we don't have any good options this election since third parties are designed to lose.
This is gay. So so gay. You sound like a redditor.

NOTHING EVER HAPPENS

WW3 is certainly not happening over two fag countries in the Middle East having a retarded slap fight.

Give me all your rainbows but I'm excited. As I've said before, I used to have TDS and didn't like the guy for a long time, even though by 2023 I was already thinking that he wasn't that bad. However, when he survived the bullet in Butler it really opened my eyes. These past 12 weeks have been crazy with everything that's going on and I feel like this rally captured a high energy that's TOO BIG TO RIG.
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm optimistic about a Trump presidency, all things considered. It can go either way, but all signs are pointed in the right direction. Just don't forget to vote in November and stay sane.

It probably is overblown, but did anyone expect the entire world to go to war from some Austrian Archduke being assassinated by some Communist Serbian?

They're dumping aliens in my area somewhere, I dunno where exactly but six months ago, and for the rest of my life before that, hearing Spanish spoken in public was a once a year or two thing. Now, go to any big box store or the mall and a quarter of the people there are hablo espanol. Haven't heard one of them speak a single sentence of English yet. They look like decent people, well-kempt in general, not causing a ruckus, usually young couples with young children. Crime hasn't gone up (yet). Maybe we've been lucky (so far, it's still early days here unless Trump wins) in the allotment game DHS is playing

But there's no way they are legal, and if they're such decent people, then they're exactly the kind of people their home countries should be keeping. Has happened to a lot of places like where I live, but not where I awkshoolly do live until several months ago. I didn't agree to this. I didn't vote for it. Neither did my state legislature. Who the fuck is the federal government or any level of government to decide without the people's consent hey we're gonna dump thousands of foreigners where you live lolgf deal with it. The thing I hate the most about this bullshit is when you import large numbers of people who don't speak the established language you automatically create a very deep division in the community, if you're lucky enough to avoid them acting like third world shits. Been getting more and more mad at the real world over this

Hasnt there been this weird gambit thing Kamala's campaign is trying to do to get Florida in play?
Not offering any aid, (which thankfully Florida doesnt need as much as GA and NC) when they're about to be hit with another hurricane. Is one hell of a play.

Holy shit this looks so bad right now ...soo....bad....

$750 per household LOAN that you gotta pay back for Americans

$157 mil for sandniggers
A staffer told her to announce that to win back the muslims or she's really that evil.

It's so hard to tell if it's malice or terminal retardation. Could be both.

Even if it's not outright nuclear war, the fallout would directly affect Europe
maybe if europeans spent more money building their own military and power plants instead of giving mcdonald workers 5 weeks of holiday time and half a year of maternity leave you wouldn't be in this situation

Imagine having a President even dumber than the Haitians she wants to import. I almost can't believe it- she doesn't even want to do basic work for the camera? She can't even bring herself to pretend to care? Absolutely embarrassing.
She's clearly actually trying her best. She's just so unbelievably stupid that "her best" makes her look like a shambling moron.

The fact that the only real work experience she's had was performed on her knees certainly does not help matters.

Who is also the same man responsible for pulling the experienced Secret Service Agents off Trump's detail and replacing them with D-list Homeland Security agents who had literally no experience other than watching a training video with sound half-turned off during Trump's first assassination attempt.
D-list would have been an improvement; the SS agents at Butler barely qualified for Z-minus list.

More seriously, I always found the timing peculiar that shortly after a Democrat proposed stripping SS protection for former presidents convicted of a crime/felony, Trump was shot at in Butler. Sure, it's likely it's a total coincidence, but the timing is such that it's hard not to dismiss the possibility this may have been a more nefarious plot.

Kek, he is already doing the "Department of Government Efficiency" job he said he'd do. I bet you this faggot is assblasted about it and not in the way he likes. It only took him around 4 hours.
We may have no idea if the interaction was cordial, but I'd like to believe Elon told Pete that if there are truly no restrictions on airspace as the latter claimed on social media, then the red tape needs to be cut ASAP in the name of quickly helping the locals in desperate need of assistance. I'm not surprised others want to take credit for breaking the standoff or downplay Elon's posts and role regarding this.

Why does anyone listen to FEMA? Why don't the local law enforcement tell them to kick sand and drive them away? Yeah they're threaten you with arrest, but who's going to enforce that when everyone is hostile and against them in the first place?
Possibly because the government agencies known by their initials have the power to make the life as miserable as possible for anyone who stands in their way or stands up to their bullying tactics. It also helps that the administration in power thinks January 6 was horrible when the vandalism and chaos committed by the left during the 2020 riots makes January 6 look like an old ladies' quilting bee.

Wrong. And like that we, and I, killed a bunch of innocent people who trusted us to help them. You do not hate bureaucrats nearly enough.
Perhaps this is more of a deep thought, but don't be too hard on yourself, @Your Girlfriend's Dad. The important thing is that you've realized bad decisions were made and you want to see that it doesn't happen again moving forward. You have more awareness than the average bureaucrat who does their job as coldly and impersonally as possible.

At 6:04 pm EST Secretary of State Antony Blinken (or whoever runs the account) posted this tone deaf banger of a tweet.
As stated earlier in the thread, there's nothing inherently wrong with helping allies. However, it makes no sense to send this money abroad when it's needed to help US citizens who just went through one hell of a nasty natural disaster. This is yet again another example of government waste at its worst.

My experience with HfH is usually in the ghetto and tends to be blacks because that's what the ghetto tends to be in anything close to urban environments. I have no knowledge of HtH denying whites houses or some other reverse racism fuckery but that sounds like good thread material if you know of it.
Maybe I'm only getting part of the story, but the HfH in my part of Kiwi Land requires people to put in a minimum amount of "sweat equity" before they get the keys to the house. On the surface, it seems like this might screen out the riff raff that would trash such a house as they wouldn't waste time or resources working on it only to destroy it later.

That said, I'm open to the possibility policies may vary by location - especially in deep blue areas - and inner-city HfH houses may be indiscriminately given to any black people as a form of social or racial equity/justice.

In that case, it's indicative of the larger political trend by the Dems to push atonement for past "wrongs" whether real or perceived - even if the atonement or repartions never truly accomplishes the goal.

Most of the winds in Iran either just run in circles within Iran itself, or else run south to the Indian ocean. Most of the rest head either into Iraq (and then straight down into the gulf) or up into the Caspian sea and into southern Russia. The high altitude prevailing winds run toward Afghanistan, Pakistan, and into the Indian Ocean again.

We could nuke every square inch of Iran, and almost none of the fallout would reach beyond Russia's portion of eastern Europe. And even they wouldn't get hit with much. Dubai would have a bad day, though.

Anyway, bombing nuclear sites doesn't create fallout anyway, mostly you just end up burying everything inside whatever bunker complex it was in, and the locals try to dig it up afterward because pure U235 is about $10K per gram. There's more fallout from burning coal, which does have radioactive elements in the soot.

Neesun Dorma, not a bad pick I guess.
Bro. You have no idea.

Don is an opera buff. Let's take a look at this iconic Puccini aria, the lyrics, and where it fits into the plot of Turandot:

In the act before this aria, Calaf has correctly answered the three riddles put to all of Princess Turandot's prospective suitors. Nonetheless, she recoils at the thought of marriage to him. Calaf offers her another chance by challenging her to guess his name by dawn. As he kneels before her, the "Nessun dorma" theme makes a first appearance, to his words, "Il mio nome non sai!" (My name you do not know!). She can execute him if she correctly guesses his name; but if she does not, she must marry him. The cruel and emotionally cold princess then decrees that none of her subjects shall sleep that night until his name is discovered. If they fail, all will be killed.

As the final act opens, it is now night. Calaf is alone in the moonlit palace gardens. In the distance, he hears Turandot's heralds proclaiming her command. His aria begins with an echo of their cry and a reflection on Princess Turandot:

None shall sleep! None shall sleep!
Not even you, oh Princess,
in your cold bedroom,
watching the stars
that tremble with love, and with hope!

But my secret is hidden within me;
no one will know my name!
No, no! On your mouth,
I will say it when the light shines!

The worried people, in the chorus, sing their fear that they will be killed at dawn. The hero concludes:

Vanish, o night!
Fade, you stars!
Fade, you stars!
At dawn, I will win!
I will win! I will win!

It's the song of the hero right before he defeats the evil queen and saves the terrified people. Chills.

They seem to be kind of like Goodwill where there are multiple local chapters that are on the up and up; but sooner or later those local chapters have to get on the bus or go independent.
