2020, whether or not you believe it was a steal - broken record here, but if it WAS legitimate they couldn’t make that look sketchier if they actively tried - was a perfect storm. You had Covid, you had the Summer of Love, and TDS was at an all time high. 2024 has none of that to act as any kind of cover for a potential steal, especially since people can now look back on Trump’s first Presidency and see shit was actually better, and the Harris/Walz campaign has done itself no favours insofar as appealing to voters enough to make it seem close - hell, you could argue they’ve done the opposite where whenever one of them gets on camera it makes people less likely to vote for them.

So an interesting fact from the prior steals is that proved they were steals is that the fake n' gay ballots were President Only, as in only the Biden/Trump section was filled and the rest of the ballot blank. Why is that? Well, typically those ballot go alphabetically by office, so President is always at the top in the same order. If you have boiler rooms full of low IQ DEI fanatics or illegals circling ballots (especially if their English isn't so good), having them reliably fill out the top section is enough of a chore. Trying to get them to go down the ballot and pick out certain candidates further down by name or party takes a lot additional time and can be very error prone.

The additional problem, for them anyway, is that Trump tends to have a massive down-ballot effect. So while they must have the House/Senate to counter him, they're going to be fighting against a much larger force than in 20/22.

I remember a brief period a few years ago where they invented or refined the sonogram or ultrasound. It went from something sort of harsh and black and white and 80s sci fi looking to a color 3d like image of the baby. I remember how many women were utterly shocked at the development of the baby, and how it looked like a little baby instead of a clump of cells like they had been told. I thought that would spell the end for roe v wade and perhaps the end of abortion as a large scale thing. That didn't really happen, and it made me realise maybe some women are sort of cruel and evil cunts. I think that is true in some cases, but in others I think the "programming" is just too strong.

To keep from turning into just an abortion is bad post, I wonder why some groups don't run ads with some of those old videos showing the wonderment and realisation setting in for the mothers to be. I feel like that could be very powerful in some of the states that have abortion ballot measures.
