It all begs the question: why? Why is the deep state fragmenting? Did the interests of all these agencies get so overpowering that they can't act on the behalf of the whole anymore? Is it because all their puppeteers are either dying or dead and there are no "adults in the room" anymore? You would think that because of the largest upward wealth transfer in history the elite wouldn't be selling their assets, but they are. Maybe the resources and pull they need just aren't there anymore. Not just because of DEI. They've thrown around money (printer go brrr) for so long that even their non-liquid assets are worth less than they should be. Not to mention that people are starting to see the game being played, though I can't say what they're doing right now other than tuning in and dropping out.
A couple possibilities:

1. The elite bet all their chips on things that failed a while ago, their current control apparatus has been crumbling for some time and we're just now starting to really see the consequences.

My idea here is that Covid was supposed to be the event that swept away all the old legal structures and brought about a unified order ruling at least the Western countries. However, this failed and produced much more resistance than expected. The Canadian trucker protests especially scared the elite because they realized the little people were capable of shutting down the machinery their social model depends on. They had to abandon their program for transforming society because they realized they couldn't continue without triggering outright revolt.

This may furthermore be a consequence of Trump winning in 2016. Perhaps Covid was something supposed to happen toward the end of Hillary's second term, at which time every institution across the West would be aligned in supporting the new order. Instead Trump brought about a conflict within the halls of power that fatally derailed the plan. They pulled the trigger too early and without the lockstep institutional support it needed for a complete social transformation.

2. Various elite "appendages" are coming into increasing conflict. The woke vs. Israel rivalry is one of the main examples here but far from the only one, blacks vs. illegal immigrants is another. Basically, the elite strategy was that they were already supposed to have consolidated total global power by now, but it took too long and now there are widening cracks in their support base. With multiple crises facing them, powerful institutions no longer agree on a common strategy and opportunists are trying to grab slices of the pie for themselves. If they could only have seized control of everything and everyone, they could have resolved all these disputes by fiat but the chance for that is past.

These may be neither, either or both be true. When Hillary lost people remarked that it would set back a lot of plans since so many governments and corporations staked their futures on her victory. They didn't expect 10/7 or the Ukraine invasion (Putin should get the Nobel Prize for medicine for curing Covid). Elon buying Twitter seems like an event that indicates elite stakeholders giving a vote of no confidence and walking away from the formerly agreed-on status quo.

I can't even stand to look at this loser anymore much, but jeezus christ. Just charge your $350 per graph and go away finally.

@Vaclav:

to further elaborate on your speculation, I think the Western elites also failed to factor in how propping up China (by making it the world's main manufacturer for the past few decades running) would lead to Chinese elites wanting to flex their influence in Western countries. Hence, TikTok frying Gen Z's brains/a China-backed push to instill Confucian-values in younger Westerners.

it actually blows my mind how many women believe in abortion. all murderers. fucking gross.
We are in the mouse utopia, and they're the equivalent of mommy mice eating their young for no reason other than they annoy them and they can't form any empathetic connection to them due to the death of the soul.

The fact that throughout every single repetition of the Mouse Utopia experiment we NEVER found a way to undo the death of their society does not bode well for us.

I assumed a previous or existing marriage was involved somehow because that's how the conversation started. So, I misunderstood.
No worries. The original context was "my sons girlfriend and my grandson" and how son should have married girlfriend.

The overall point is that if you are a couple and want/have a kid and the finances are such that you make more than her or she makes way more than you. Marriage is nothing but downsides for the person making more money financially. The tax benefits can be easily gained via HoH.

yeah its great if she stays. if she leaves you are absolutely fucked because the courts are a complete sham. marriage was a religious thing. the state has no place. if you arent religious id say to completely ignore marriage. it is a piece of paper that means nothing.
I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but everything in life carries some amount of risk and there's plenty in life that isn't fair.
Buying a house, a car, taking a job in a new state, moving in with your partner, getting married, having kids.
If those things go badly you could be "fucked" in various ways, to varying degrees, just the same.
If it's something you're concerned about you can mitigate some of the risk - learn red flags in a partner, meet their family and see how they interact, take note if their parents are divorced, get a prenup.
Even if you only live together and don't get legally married there is still some amount of risk to that, particularly if children are involved. There are also legal protections that come with marriage that can be risky not to have in place in case one of you gets hurt, or dies. Or if you have a spouse who isn't a citizen of your country initially.
No matter what there's going to be risk involved. And if you try to avoid all risk in life because if you take it it could go badly, well, you're not going to be living much of a life.
Don't get legally married if you want, but realize you're not escaping risk by doing that.

Twitter made Hollywood commit suicide.

Actors used to be these mysterious beautiful people you saw on the silver screen and heard from only in interviews printed in glossy magazines. Then Twitter was invented and most celebrities started spewing onto it every day. Now they seem less like beguiling glamorous figures and more like your moron co-worker or relative who won't shut up about Drumpf.

Wasn't there anyone with a brain working at those fancy LA publicist companies? They should have told all their Hollywood clients "stay away from this shit like the plague."

things fall apart. civilizations rise and fall. They are suffering from a lot of what the late USSR did with hilarious rhyming tunes. Its the height of pride and arrogance for these people to think that they wouldn't eventually meet their own end.

Harry Sisson is being a fag again. Oh, it's a day that ends in "y." They are now into the "I'll let you fuck the rhinoplasty pussy if you vote for Kamabla"

Oh yeah, Harry Sisson, a sniveling, gay, paid Democrat shill who has less testosterone than an Asian woman, somehow knows what women really want.

This bitch is so bottom that even the bears plundering his ass like a pirate's treasure chest get a little concerned.

Speaking of, here's an X thread from someone who took one for the team and listened to Kamala on the sex podcast:

archive

I'm listening to the Kamala x Call Her Daddy podcast because it's time to check in on the core single 30yo women demographic. A 🧵

Note that I know very little about this podcast other than an impression that it's basically vintage Cosmo

I also find it interesting the podcasts Trump vs Kamala go on as they try to get engagement from their demographically core but marginally engaged constituencies. Anyway, podcast

The host, "Alex", didn't want to get "political" but this affects "women", as if all politics doesn't ipso facto affect women. What she actually means is a kind of privileged position for a professional women aristocracy

"how are you doing", "why are you here", really pushing the envelope here. Kamala leans into the podcast as surrogate friendship network. She's your fun aunt!

"Indian mom made sure we could all express what we're feeling" and then immediately follows up with a story where she came home sad and Mom immediately asked "what did you do". We see no contradictions here because it's just free form emoting

"Voting for me will give you control over your life" is the subtext for all this discussion about "agency"

Abortion also is about this "agency", aka control, according to these entities. Doing the live psychoanalysis is exhausting, do women do this 24/7

10 minutes in and we have a break? Weird editorial decision

This is just college admissions tier "how do you respond to adversity". I think the substantive messaging got established within 30 seconds and now we're just stewing in it

How many people tuned in here to hear Kamala Harris give psychological advice to rape victims and what does this say about the selection effects for a podcast that as I gather deals modally with how to nail that director position by sucking off the VP

"You're so brave" "No *you're* brave"

"people didn't talk about domestic violence / sexual assault / etc" - fact check, everyone under the age of like 50 has had this constantly talked about both explicitly and by reference in entertainment media

This is unlistenable and I am shutting it off at the halfway mark unless it does a face turn

"please riff on how DRUMPF is shutting down abortion" maybe this would be more interesting if I had the version with video

The tragedy of abortion bans is highlighted by the horror of sitting on a plane next to a (probably ugly) stranger and going to a city you've never been to, I thought these people loved travel

"Abortion desert" my God

And we're at tactical libertarianism starting precisely at the clitoris and ending exactly at the butthole, this is exhausting

Okay I'm calling it. We're just going to circle the drain for the last 20 anyway. The 19th amendment was a mistake and hearing the phrase "abortion desert" is really not an ideal start to the week.

I would have listened if there was a chance at Oprah tier sympathetic interviewing about how she has no regrats re Willy Brown / Montell Williams / etc and how precisely that all went down, but this is content free https://t.co/FAaeFkaD2N

I remember when the "Bush used a weather machine to create Hurricane Katrina" was thing. I'm sure those that believed it are now calling MTG an idiot.
Hell, I remember when "Bush secretly detonated underwater nukes to create the Boxing Day Tsunami" was a thing, when they weren't trying to blame it on climate change (which was also Bush's fault, ofc).

Han Solo was always a better character than Luke anyway; that's why Mel Brooks just made Han the lead and deleted Luke from the story entirely.
